Abstract Following the interesting arguments raised in a recent letter to the editor, about a paper recently published in this journal, the authors are happy to take a cue from them to clarify some facts that have not been sufficiently treated for space. After a description of the methods used, arguments regarding a blunt trauma on the right shoulder with consequent dislocation, the position of the hands on the pubis with brachial plexus injury, and the wrist nailing that caused retracted thumbs are discussed in detail.

The article was dedicated to one of the prayers – the Litany to Saint Barbara – in a Baroque Polish-language prayer book addressed to this patroness. It was published in Wrocław in 1747 by the Jesuit order for a fraternity dedicated to Saint Barbara, who was then treated as the patron of a happy death. This confraternity was established in Tarnowskie Góry as the third one in Upper Silesia. Resum: I risvolti sovranazionali riscontrati nei tre protagonisti dei romanzi del Quattrocento catalano (Jacob Xalabín, Curial e Tirant) consentono di procedere a un’analisi del Curial e Güelfa che ne sottolinea l’identità multipla e l’apertura culturale del processo di formazione del protagonista, nella sua ascesa economica e sociale. L’evoluzione del protagonista, grazie a un meccanismo psicologico, oggi riconosciuto come tale, consente il lieto fine del romanzo, diversamente da quanto avviene negli altri due, dove i protagonisti, Jacob e Tirant, rimangono sempre gli stessi. Bakalaura darba tēma ir uzzināt Amerikāņu un Meksikāņu viedokļus par "Amerikāņu sapni", kuri atspoguļojas filmās, kā arī, to kā Amerikāņu sapnis ir uztverts filmās "Ziemeļi" (1984) un "Tiekšanās pēc laimes" (2006). Galvenais uzdevums bija analizēt filmas, lai redzētu kā Amerikāņu sapnis tiek panākts abām nācijām. Papildus, šim uzdevumam tika arī uzsvērti Amerikāņu sapņa elementi, kas raksturo šo fenomenu. Pētījumā viens no uzdevumiem bija atrast Amerikāņu sapnim pašu piemērotāko definīciju un elementus kas to veido. Tas tika paveikts lasot dažādu autoru grāmatas un rakstus, kuri diskutē par šo tēmu. Background: The association with a preceding stressor is a characteristic feature of takotsubo syndrome (TTS). Negative emotions before TTS are common and led to the popular term "broken heart syndrome." In contrast, pleasant triggers ("happy heart syndrome") are rare and are scarcely investigated.
