The Health Behavior in School-aged Children is a cross-national study collecting data on social and health indicators on adolescents in 43 countries. The study provides comparable data on health behaviors and health outcomes through the use of a common protocol, which have been a back bone of the study sine its initiation in 1983. Recent years, researchers within the study have noticed a questionable comparability on the widely used item on self-rated health. Abstract This paper provides a close reading of Paul Farley’s 160-line poem, “Thorns.” The poem is read in dialogue with William Wordsworth’s celebrated Romantic ballad “The Thorn.” Special attention is given to Farley’s treatment of memory and metaphor: It is shown how the first, exploratory part of the poem elaborates upon the interdependent nature of memory and metaphor, while the second part uses a more regulated form of imagery in its evocation of a generational memory linked to a particular place and time (the working-class Liverpool of the 1960s and 1970s). The European Constitutional Treaty which is going to be ratified these days offers a concept of European citizenship which disappoints the expectations to find a way for an integration of the resident immigrants or for any kind of political accommodation. In the light of the European framework and of the doctrinal debate, the proposal of a model of inclusive, plural and gradual citizenship will be examined, a citizenship which starts off with the notion of neighbourhood based on the continuous residence, followed by an analysis of the objections of those criticizing these proposals as a process of domestication.

3D survey and modelling of Cultural Heritage allow to store a great deal of 3D data that can be managed for different purposes. 3D models can be used for documentation, restoration and knowledge of historic architectures and monuments. In this work, a 3D survey of the main portico of the Cathedral of Monreale (Palermo, Italy) was carried out. The paper presents the data acquisition process and the 3D modelling phase. The work is aimed to reconstruct a 3D model that could be used also to set up an HBIM (Heritage or Historic Building Information Modelling) of the main portico.
