Investigating teachers’ dyadic self-efficacy and its correlations to students’ perceptions of teacher efficacy and student well-being

Most studies, to date, have ignored variance in teachers’ self-efficacy (TSE) in relation to teaching individual students (i.e., student-specific self-efficacy). However, TSE and teacher efficacy differ among students. Thus, this study examines dyadic TSE in four domains and their correlations with students’ perceptions of teacher efficacy and student academic self-concept and well-being. Results of a paper–pencil survey involving 29 teachers and 469 students (39.9% girls, aged 10–17 years) from German secondary schools reveal a moderate overlap between dyadic TSE and students’ perceptions of teacher efficacy. Tämän tutkimuksen tavoitteena oli selvittää, millaisia ovat opetuksellisesti haasteelliset sosioemotionaalista tukea tarvitsevat oppilaat alakoulun 3. – 6. luokilla opettavien luokan- ja erityisopettajien kokemuksen mukaan. Lisäksi selvitettiin, miten opettajat (N=44) kokevat selviytyvänsä sosioemotionaalista tukea tarvitsevan oppilaan opettajana. Selviytymisen kokemuksessa mitattavat osa-alueet olivat opettaja-oppilassuhde, opettajan tarjoama sosioemotionaalinen tuki ja opettajan minäpystyvyys. Solar radiation initiates photochemical oxidation of dissolved organic carbon (DOC) to dissolved inorganic carbon (DIC) in inland waters, contributing to their carbon dioxide emissions to the atmosphere. Tutkimuksen tarkoituksena oli tarkastella paloviinan kotipolton kieltämistä koskenutta keskustelua suomenkielisessä sanomalehdistössä, liittyen vuoden 1863 säätyvaltiopäiviin, joilla asia oli käsittelyssä. Tutkimusaineisto koostui 38:sta kirjeestä, jotka julkaistiin lehdistössä kymmenen vuoden aikajaksolla ennen ja jälkeen valtiopäivien vuosina 1857–1867. Kirjeet olivat maaseutu- ja vähemmässä määrin kaupunkikirjeenvaihtajien kirjoittamia, ja niiden kirjoittajat edustivat eri säätyjä – talonpoikia, aatelisia, pappeja ja porvareita.
