This technology offers a convenient way to enhance the dissolution of poorly water-soluble drug compounds. Infinite coordination polymer networks metallogelation of aminopyridine conjugates and in situ silver nanoparticle formation

Herein we report silver(i) directed infinite coordination polymer network (ICPN) induced self-assembly of low molecular weight organic ligands leading to metallogelation. Structurally simple ligands are derived from 3-aminopyridine and 4-aminopyridine conjugates which are composed of either pyridine or 2,2'-bipyridine cores. The cation specific gelation was found to be independent of the counter anion, leading to highly entangled fibrillar networks facilitating the immobilization of solvent molecules. Austrumu un rietumu mītiem daudzu gadsimtu garumā bijusi būtiska loma dažādos literārajos darbos. Šī pētnieciskā darba mērķis ir pierādīt, ka austrumu un rietumu mītiem ir nozīmīga loma Salmana Rušdi romānā „Florences burve”. Mērķa sasniegšanai tika studēti dažādi austrumu un rietumu mīti, ieskaitot mītus no Tuvo Austrumu folkloras stāstu krājuma „Tūkstoš un vienas nakts pasakas”, mītu par Pigmalionu un Galateju, renesanses laika dzejoļus „Orlando innamorato” un „Orlando furioso”. Rezultāti pierāda, ka austrumu un rietumu mīti Rušdi romānā ir komplicēti un pārklāj cits citu, tie skar politiskas un sociālas problēmas. Stereoselective synthesis and transformation of pinane-based 2-amino-1,3-diols

A library of pinane-based 2-amino-1,3-diols was synthesised in a stereoselective manner. Isopinocarveol prepared from (−)-α-pinene was converted into condensed oxazolidin-2-one in two steps by carbamate formation followed by a stereoselective aminohydroxylation process. The relative stereochemistry of the pinane-fused oxazolidin-2-one was determined by 2D NMR and X-ray spectroscopic techniques. The regioisomeric spiro-oxazolidin-2-one was prepared in a similar way starting from the commercially available (1R)-(−)-myrtenol (10). Many studies in recent years focused on the efficiency of bilingual education in different school settings. If a school pursues a regular implementation of CLIL modules instead of the establishment of proper CLIL streams, the student group that is affected by this teaching approach is much more diverse when compared to the preselected CLIL stream groups. Development of math anxiety and its longitudinal relationships with arithmetic achievement among primary school children

Abstract The aim of this study is to examine the development of two separable aspects of math anxiety, anxiety about math-related situations and anxiety about failure in math, and their cross-lagged relationship with arithmetic achievement. The mean level of anxiety about math-related situations decreased among second, third, and fourth graders, and the level of anxiety about failure in math declined among third, fourth, and fifth graders. The rank-order of individuals was more stable in arithmetic achievement than in either aspect of math anxiety.
