Kirja Huhut, unet, sodomiitit, moraalinvartijat, elämäkerrat,puhuttelusanat ja ammattinimikkeet koostuu teoreettisista artikkeleista ja tutkielmista, joiden käsittelemät aikakaudet ulottuvat keskiajalta aina itsenäisyyden murrosvaiheisiin. Teemaa lähestytään yksilön ja yhteiskunnan välisten suhteiden ilmentymänä. Artlkkelit edustavat kunkin kirjoittajan tutkimussuuntausta. Näin ollen kyseessä on teos, jossa esitetään myös uusimman historiantutkimuksen tuloksia. Kirjoittajat ovat historiantutkijoita ja Jyväskylän maakunta-arkiston henkilökuntaa.
Charged jet cross sections and properties in proton-proton collisions at $\sqrt{s}=7$ TeV

The differential charged jet cross sections, jet fragmentation distributions, and jet shapes are measured in minimum bias proton-proton collisions at centre-of-mass energy $\sqrt{s}=7$ TeV using the ALICE detector at the LHC. Jets are reconstructed from charged particle momenta in the mid-rapidity region using the sequential recombination $k_{\rm T}$ and anti-$k_{\rm T}$ as well as the SISCone jet finding algorithms with several resolution parameters in the range $R=0.2$ to $0.6$. Differential jet production cross sections measured with the three jet finders are in agreement in the transverse momentum ($p_{\rm T}$) interval $20<p_{\rm T}^{\rm jet,ch}<100$ GeV/$c$. We analyzed the effects of working activity and working shifts on the circadian rhythmicity and circadian phase relations of serum cortisol level, white blood cells count, resting heart rate and systolic/diastolic blood pressure in a group of italian fishermen. We observed a shift-induced displacement of cortisol secretion and a modification in leukocyte count. Moreover, systolic/diastolic blood pressure and resting heart rate were markedly influenced by the night shift, whereas no appreciable changes were observed after the morning and afternoon shifts, compared to pre-working values. This study describes and interprets differences in stakeholder interaction as rhetorically constructed in environmental reports and in interviews with environmental managers. It also interprets the role of the natural environment among stakeholders, and discusses how that role is justified or not justified. The study focuses in a business perspective on stakeholder interaction in environmental management. Image inpainting using directional wavelet packets originating from polynomial splines

The paper presents a new algorithm for the image inpainting problem. The algorithm is using a recently designed versatile library of quasi-analytic complex-valued wavelet packets (qWPs) which originate from polynomial splines of arbitrary orders. Tensor products of 1D qWPs provide a diversity of 2D qWPs oriented in multiple directions. For example, a set of the fourth-level qWPs comprises 62 different directions.
