The main threat to agricultural crops are weeds with herbicides being the primary cropping management practice. Due to the negative impact of herbicides on health and environment, their use must be reduced. To replace herbicides, numerous cropping practices need to be implemented. This makes weed management more complicated and, together with necessity of scheduling operations at long-term and the multiplicity of cropping system impacts, explains why models are so useful for designing innovative cropping systems. Bakalaura darba tēma ir “Māsas un pacienta sadarbības hroniski obstraktīvas plaušu slimības gadījumā”. Bakalaura darba aktualitāti nosaka, sabiedrības un īpaši pacientu ar jau esošo HOPS, nepietiekošās zināšanas par HOPS, kā rezultātā slimība netiek laicīgi diagnosticēta. Darba autore pēta un analizē, HOPS slimības ietekmi uz pacienta emocionālo un fizisko veselību, māsas sadarbību ar HOPS pacientiem, profilaksi un ārstēšanu, lai, vajadzības gadījumā, māsa varētu sniegt informatīvu atbalstu pacientiem izglītošanas nolūkā. Making Bishops in the Malta of the Knights, 1530-1798

During the early modern age the appointment of Maltese bishops involved conflicts in the management of ecclesiastical patronage, jurisdictional issues and international diplomacy. The procedure for appointment, established by Charles v in 1530 when he granted Malta to the Order of St John, was the result of a compromise: safeguarding rights of royal patronage without undermining the independence of an international military order. It is important, however, to underline the reforming activity conducted by bishops appointed in such political ways, especially through the application of some institutions provided by the Council of Trent, such as diocesan synods.
