Partendo dalla concezione di "rischio" e contrapponendola a quella di "azzardo", il testo introduce il lavoro di indagine e le proposte interattive nate durante e in seguito dell'esperienza del Laboratorio del cammino che nel 2021 attraversavai territori in contrazione delle province di Torino e Biella. Starting from the concept of "risk" and opposing it with that of "hazard", the text introduces the investigation work and the interactive proposals developed during and following the experience of the "Laboratorio del Cammino" which in 2021 crossed the shrinking territories of the Turin and Biella provinces.

Zirgkastaņu raibkode Cameraria ohridella (Lepidoptera: Gracillariidae) ir invazīva suga, kas izraisa lapotnes defoliāciju parastā zirgkastaņa Aesculus hippocastanum kokiem. Pētījuma mērķis bija apskatīt zirgkastaņu raibkodes populācijas dinamikas attīstību ietekmējošos rādītājus un identificēt raibkodes parazitoīdu sugu kompleksu. Jelgavas pilsētā 2014. gada veģetācijas periodā tika veikta raibkodes radīto lapu bojājumu novērtēšana. Veicot lapu paraugu izpēti un raibkodes īpatņu uzskaiti, tika apskatīta populācijas attīstības dinamika, fenoloģija, mirstības apmēri un noteikti mirstības cēloņi. In Mérida remains a nice funerary stela dedicated to a young girl. For many years the interpretation was that it means a dedication of a teacher to her disciple and therefore a unique example of women teaching in Hispania was imposed. Although this view is still ruled today remains in various studies that false belief. The reality is that there is no evidence that women, except of certain situations associated with the formation of the slaves, developed an educational activity in Rome. This circumstance remained with the triumph of Christianity. Hispania was no exception in the Roman world.

The CHRONOS Real-World Evidence of Biologic Treatments in Psoriatic Arthritis in Italy: A Post Hoc Gender Analysis

: Background: Phenotypic features and outcome differences between sexes have been reported in psoriatic arthritis (PsA). However, little is known about sex differences in effectiveness of biologics in clinical practice. Methods: Post hoc gender analysis of the CHRONOS, a multicenter, noninterventional, retroprospective Italian real-world study assessing 6-month and 1-year effectiveness of biologics for PsA. Results: Eligible patients were 399, 43.1% men. Sociodemographic characteristics, type of arthritis, baseline Disease Activity Score 28 joints (DAS28), and duration of biologic treatment were rather homogeneous. Spondyloarthritis (SpA) is a group of rheumatic diseases whose pathogenesis relies on a complex interplay between genetic and environmental factors. Over the last several years, the importance of the alteration of the gut microbiota, known as dysbiosis, and the interaction of bacterial products with host immunity have been highlighted as intriguing key players in SpA development. The recent advent of the so called “-omics” sciences, that include metabolomics, opened the way to a new approach to SpA through a deeper characterisation of the pathogenetic mechanisms behind the disease. First World War Diaries: Making the Private Public

This article analyses several World War I Diaries written by soldiers on the Front. Starting with the circumstances of publication and their effects on the text, the article addresses the passage of these very private texts into public life, before turning to the role played by the diaries for the soldiers who write them. Studies of the diary as a genre are used to show how war diaries fit into the more general genre. Finally the article turns to the reception of these works, by studying what part literary distance may play for the soldiers keeping a diary, and by arguing that the task of making sense of these texts has been transferred to present-day readers.
