Le opere esposte da Maria Accascina alla Mostra d’Arte Sacra delle Madonie

Il saggio espone i metodi e gli strumenti di ricerca utilizzati per la ricostruzione del catalogo della pioneristica Mostra D’Arte Sacra delle Madonie curata da Maria Accascina ed allestita nel 1937 presso il Convento dei PP. Riformati di Petralia Sottana, centro delle alte Madonie. Si tratta di più di quattrocento opere, tra gioielli, suppellettili liturgiche, oggetti preziosi di uso profano, coralli, paramenti sacri, tessuti, statue lignee, intagli, maioliche, tappeti, tele e tavole dipinte realizzate dal XI al XIX secolo. Le opere, alcune delle quali perdute, provengono dalle collezioni nobiliari, dall’allora Museo Nazionale di Palermo, ora Galleria Regionale della Sicilia, Palazzo Abate…

Las maestras nos hablan de dicho factor vocacional como de algo que ya aparece en su infancia en tanto que deseo explícito de dedicarse a la docencia. An X-ray characterization of the central region of the supernova remnant G332.5-5.6

Aims. We present an X-ray analysis of the central region of supernova remnant (SNR) G332.5-5.6 through an exhaustive analysis of XMM-Netwon observations with complementary infrared observations. We characterize and discuss the origin of the observed X-ray morphology, which presents a peculiar plane edge over the west side of the central region. Methods. The morphology and spectral properties of the X-ray SNR were studied using a single full frame XMM-Netwon observation in the 0.3 to 10.0 keV energy band. A chiral capillary monolithic column for enantiomer separation in capillary electrochromatography was prepared by coating cellulose tris(3,5-dimethylphenylcarbamate) on porous glycidyl methacrylate-co-ethylene dimethacrylate monolith in capillary format grafted with chains of [2(methacryloyloxy)ethyl] trimethylammonium chloride. Monitoring chemical reactions that occur in small spaces or confined environments is challenging. Surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) spectroscopy offers the unique possibility to monitor spectral changes with high sensitivity and time resolution. Herein, we report the application of composite mesoporous TiO2 films loaded with Ag nanoparticles (NPs) to track in situ chemical processes in real time. In particular, the AgNPs@TiO2 system was employed to monitor two chemical reactions: one occurring on the Ag NPs surface and another taking place in the surrounding solution. The liquid argon calorimeter is a key component of the ATLAS detector installed at the CERN Large Hadron Collider. The primary purpose of this calorimeter is the measurement of electron and photon kinematic properties. It also provides a crucial input for measuring jets and missing transverse momentum. Background Triatoma infestans is the main vector of Chagas disease in South America. As in all hematophagous arthropods, its saliva contains a complex cocktail that assists blood feeding by preventing platelet aggregation and blood clotting and promoting vasodilation. These salivary components can be immunologically recognized by their vector's hosts and targeted with antibodies that might disrupt blood feeding. These antibodies can be used to detect vector exposure using immunoassays. Antibodies may also contribute to the fast evolution of the salivary cocktail. Este trabajo analiza, a partir de los testimonios personales ofrecidos por un grupo de inmigrantes de la posguerra, el significado que estos sujetos históricos le han dado y le dan al concepto de identidad. En tal sentido, se ha buscado rastrear a través de entrevistas orales, cuál es el sentimiento de los inmigrantes con respecto a su identidad: se sienten ¿inmigrantes? ¿Extranjeros?, ¿Argentinos? Se parte de la idea de identidad como una construcción en la que es necesario comprender no sólo en su relación con el otro sino también como una alteridad propia.
