The SO2F2 quasi-spherical top: Correspondence between tensorial and Watson's formalisms

Abstract The SO2F2 quasi-spherical top molecule with C2v symmetry is considered as a distorted spherical top deriving from the SO 4 2 − tetrahedral ion. We present here a detailed correspondence between the tensorial formalism using the Td⊃C2v reorientation and the usual Hamiltonian of Watson. We have also performed ab initio calculations in order to determine the centrifugal distorsion constants in the vibrational ground state.

Heart rate and other risk factors in outpatients with stable coronary artery disease in Latvia The aim of the study was to characterise coronary artery disease (CAD) outpatients in Latvia by risk factors (RF) including heart rate (HR), physical examination data, clinical data and treatment. Twelve practitioners had each examined and questioned 6 to 12 patients with established CAD (n = 120). The most frequent cardiovascular (CV) RF and co-morbidity were dyslipidemia (94.2%) and hypertension (78.3%), respectively. Through the field study of the prevention of psychosocial risks at work (PSR), our work illustrates the difficulty faced by researchers and practitioners in the context of a responsiblecorporate approach. The multiple possible approaches of the prevention of PSR are all ways leading to management choices with contrasted methods and results. That makes it necessary for researchers and practitioners to position themselves upstream from these choices.

Dwarf fan palm (Chamaerops humilis) plays an important ecological role in the thermo Mediterranean vegetation stage, both in woodlands, xerophitic shrub communities and degraded ecosystems. Dwarf fan palm is typically propagated from seeds. Whereas other palm species show reduced germination after few months of seed storage, no information is available on the effects of storage time on seed germinability .
