AbstractIn emerging markets, instances of increasing consumers focus on ethical aspects of the product are observed. To this end, we aim to examine the influence of two ethical certifications and two product involvement types on consumers willingness to purchase ethical products at price premiums in the Indian market. No animal cruelty certification and no child labor certification are chosen as the ethical certifications, and a shirt and a bar of soap are chosen as high and low involvement product categories. Universities and other educational institutions may find it difficult to afford the cost of obtaining cutting-edge teaching resources. This study introduces the adoption of a novel open prototyping framework in the context of mechatronics education, employing low-cost commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) components and tools for the motion control module. Vohwinkel Syndrome, also known as Keratoderma Hereditarium Mutilans, is an extremely rare dominant autosomal keratosis. It typically presents with “starfish” keratoses on the knuckles, palmoplantar keratoderma (PPK), hearing impairment and mutilating digital constriction bands (pseudoainhum) that cause strangulation, often leading to autoamputation of the affected digit. Both medical and surgical treatment haven’t shown to date consistent results, in the treatment of pseudoainhum. Darba pamatuzdevums ir izpētīt krāsu paleti antiutopiskajos romānos: kādi krāsu termini ir izmantoti, kādas ir to galvenās funkcijas, simbolisms un konteksts. Lai sasniegtu šo mērķi, ir apskatīti pētījumi par krāsu simbolismu, kā arī tika savākti dati priekš kvantitatīvas and kvalitatīvas analīzes. Šis maģistra darbs pēta Losandželosas attēlojumu divos skarbās literatūras žanra romānos. Skarbās literatūras žanrs un lokācijas aspekts ir tēmas, kuram netiek pievērsts pietiekami daudz akadēmiskās uzmanības literatūrzinātnē. Tika analizēti divi literārie darbi – Reimonda Čandlera 1942. gada romāns “Augstais Logs” un Maikla Konelija 2011. gada romāns “Piliens”. Par maģistra darba galveno metodoloģisko ietvaru tika izvēlēta Džeisona Finča “Dziļa lokācijas kritika”. Romānu lokācijas analīze pauda daudz ieskatu Losandželosas sociālās, ģeogrāfiskās un politiskās realitātēs.
