Context. Until recently, camera networks designed for monitoring fireballs worldwide were not fully automated, implying that in case of a meteorite fall, the recovery campaign was rarely immediate. This was an important limiting factor as the most fragile - hence precious - meteorites must be recovered rapidly to avoid their alteration. Aims. This technique allows the detection of multiscale edges and is used to detect all the details, which are in a picture by modifying the scale. The paper presents the experimental verification of a general mathematical model of Voltage Source Inverters (VSI) able to simulate fault conditions and which is also useful for the simulation of fault-tolerant systems for different applications. In general, in the past, the problem of faulty inverters modeling has been addressed specifically by considering faults on the different phases as separate cases. Analysis of voltage dips propagation in MV distribution networks by using ATP-EMTP code

In this paper, voltage dips simulation in electric power MV distribution networks by using an improved ATP circuit-breaker model are reported. An equivalent circuit of a MV distribution system is employed. The circuit-breaker is simulated by using a tool written in MODELS language and by arranging a time-variable differential arc-conductance based on the combination of Mayr's and Cassie's equations. The simulations carried out have shown how the amplitude of the voltage dips depends on the type and location of the fault and their duration is strictly related to the circuit-breaker parameters.

Electrostatic synchronous generator model of an Inverter-Based Distributed Generators

In this paper, the idea of modelling the Inverter-Based Distributed Generators by using the concept of Electrostatic synchronous machines is discussed. A mathematical model of the inverter has been established which depends on the dc bus voltage, modulation index and frequency of the system. Two mathematical models have been developed: a small signal model and a steady-state model. These mathematical models will be helpful in studying the stability of a microgrid; especially when studying the transient stability performance of on-grid operation of converter-based distributed generator with multi-machine microgrid. Simulation results using Matlab/Simulink are carried out.
Analytical compact modeling of GMR based current sensors: Application to power measurement at the IC level

An analytical compact model for giant magnetoresistance (GMR) based current sensors has been developed. Different spin-valve based full Wheatstone bridge sensors, with the current straps integrated in the chip, have been considered.
