Introduction/Background* In high-grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSOC) an early intraperitoneal metastatic spread is common which determines the therapeutical approach and prognosis. Integrins may be involved in metastatic spread of HGSOC. In this study, integrin expression was examined in primary tumour and metastases of HGSOC. Functionnalized Surface Acoustic Wave Sensors for the Detection of Hazardous Gases

International audience; In this work, we show the capabilities of Surface Acoustic Wave (SAW) devices to probe the properties of gas sensitive materials for the manufacturing of hazardous gas sensors. The great capabilities of cobalt corroles for the trapping of carbon monoxide (CO) were exploited to produce selective sensors. These corroles were deposited on SAW delay lines surfaces and then exposed to carbon monoxide (CO) in standard conditions. Concentrations of a few hundreds of ppb were measured emphasizing the interest of such sensors for the detection of CO. Goodness-of-fit tests for parametric excess hazard rate models with covariates

In this paper we propose a general methodology for testing the null hypothesis that an excess hazard rate model, with or without covariates, belongs to a parametric family. Estimating the excess hazard rate function parametrically through the maximum likelihood method and non-parametrically (or semi-parametrically) we build a discrepancy process which is shown to be asymptotically Gaussian under the null hypothesis. Based on this result we are able to build some statistical tests in order to decide wether or not the null hypothesis is acceptable. Coseismic extension recorded within the damage zone of the Vado di Ferruccio Thrust Fault, Central Apennines, Italy

Recent high resolution hypocentral localisation along active fault systems in the Central Apennines illuminates the activation of seismogenic volumes dipping at low angle (<30°) in extensional settings overprinting contractional deformations affecting the continental crust of the Adria microplate. Maģistra darbs uzrakstīts angļu valodā uz 42 lappusēm. Tas satur 15 attēlus, 4 vienadojumi, 8 tabulas un 64 atsauces. Cilvēki katru dienu ir pakļauti zilajai gaismai. Zilā gaisma ir bīstama, ja tā pārsniedz 100 J / (cm2-sr) uz 106 ≤ t. Pirmsreceptoru makulas pigmenti, luteīns un zeaksantīns kopā ar lēcas kristālu absorbē zilo gaismu. Zilās gaismas svērtais spožums dažādos ekspozīcijas ilgumos tika modelēts ar doto datu bāzi, kas ņemta no f. fluxometrs dažādiem zilās gaismas avotiem.
