Doxography as cultural posology

Abstract The current review analyzes the last editorial issuance of Professor Gabriel Hasmaţuchi. Dedicated with much accent on cultural phenomenology, the author proposes interpretations that develop a binary, alike, contradictory, concurrent, complementary or congruent character. The work has the smell of ancient doxographies being a truly protreptic one, as well as a treaty of cultural posology.
Adriana Bittel: Meta and intertextual accents of writing

Abstract This essay proposed to analyze the profile of Adriana Bittel’s writing with deep meta and intertextual accents. In a transgressive and textual framework of the 80’s generation prose, the work presents a new way of approaching the narrative by intentionally disposing all its mechanisms of conception, in a context in which the fiction self-comments and brings the reader with all the tools and components of “textual engineering”.

Abstract Despite of some whiffs of degradation that we breathe every day, we rejoice, sometimes feeling the scent of the air filled with cultural facts that deserve our consideration. Such success belongs to the writer and Professor Ovidiu Pecican, who wrote a paper on a genuine scholar Pavel Chihaia (1922-2019), an intellectual noteworthy not only for his research, but also an author of a praiseworthy moral character.

Abstract In this study we conducted a research on the Facebook page of the Romanian Gendarmerie, to understand the magnitude of the effects of the crisis this institution is facing after the Diaspora Protest ended in violence. We monitored the posts from August 10 to December 31, 2018 and analyzed the most relevant 50 comments from each post, in order to determine their character: positive, negative or neutral. Parody and Pastiche of Satirical Romanian Press

Abstract Satirical Romanian press use irony form with the purpose to transpose realities in acid writing and to reform the problems which exist in our society. This study presents one of the most known ways to express irony: intertextuality. Through a series of examples extracted from the satirical press we will try to observe the role that the parody and the pastiche – as important elements of the intertextuality – hold in the expression of irony, but also the impact that they have on the reader.

Objectives: Multifactorial interventions are crucial to arrest the threat posed by infectious diseases. Public involvement requires adequate information, but determinants such as health literacy can impact on the effective use of such knowledge. The influence of health literacy on infectious diseases is examined in this paper. Methods: Databases were searched from January 1999 through July 2015 seeking studies reporting on health literacy and infections such tuberculosis, malaria, and influenza, and infection-related behaviours such as vaccination and hand hygiene. Communication is key in the field of health, and the digital age did nothing but increase its importance. Today, the Internet and the new mass media have become basic communication tools, which in the case of young people, are sometimes essential. Most youngsters in the Western world have a latest generation mobile phone, which they use to communicate, access social networks and share their experiences instantly with their friends. Including communication tools such as Instagram in youth health fieldwork poses a number of challenges, but also has the potential for social health research, allowing us to reach young people and enrich research ethnographically.
