„Poemat dramatyczny” Teofila Lenartowicza Sędziowie ateńscy (1895), wydany dopiero po śmierci autora, nie tylko powstawał przez kilka lat, lecz także był prawdopodobnie kilka razy pisany od nowa pod różnymi tytułami (m.in. Sokrates). Z niektórych jego wersji zachowały się drukowane fragmenty, inne pozostały w rękopisach. Jedną z redakcji wcześniejszych, nietożsamą z tekstem wydanym na podstawie ostatniego autografu, była wersja przygotowana dla teatru w 1884 roku. Omni-channel retailing consists of the complete alignment of the different channels and touchpoints that generate a seamless experience for consumers, allowing them to move freely through all channels. Variations in stress resistance and adaptive plastic responses during ontogeny have rarely been addressed, despite the possibility that differences between life stages can affect species' range margins and thermal tolerance. Here, we assessed the thermal sensitivity and hardening capacity of Drosophila melanogaster across developmental stages from larval to the adult stage. We observed strong differences between life stages in heat resistance, with adults being most heat resistant followed by puparia, pupae and larvae. Demonstration of P29, an oestrogen receptor-associated tumor marker, in human term placenta.

A Mr29,000 serine phosphoprotein (P29) related to oestradiol receptor was studied in human term placenta with the use of a specific monoclonal antibody (D5). D5 was used with two different methods, immunohistochemistry and immunoradiometry. For immunohistochemistry, an indirect immunoperoxidase method was chosen to detect P29 in methacarn-fixed, wax-embedded sections. P29 was mostly confined to the syncytiotrophoblast surrounding placental villi, staining being positive in both cytoplasm and nuclei. The stroma of villi was negative. Sonographic demonstration of a spontaneous rectus sheath hematoma following a sneeze: a case report and review of the literature

Spontaneous rectus sheath hematoma (SRSH) is an uncommon cause of acute abdominal pain characterized by bleeding within the rectus sheath; it is a benign condition and, in most cases, it is treated conservatively. Bleeding of the abdominal wall is an unusual condition that is quite challenging to identify promptly and can be easily overlooked during a routine physical examination. In daily practice, anticoagulant therapy is one of the main risk factors for hemorrhagic events. In this respect, we report a rare case of spontaneous hematoma of the abdominal wall (diagnosed and monitored through an ultrasound examination) that arose after sneezing in a patient receiving anticoagulant treatment.

Chelation of synaptic zinc induces overexcitation in the hilar mossy cells of the rat hippocampus.

Complete removal of synaptic zinc by the chelator dietyldithiocarbamate (DEDTC; 500 mg/kg i.p.) in rat was followed by convulsive behaviour including wet dog shakes alternating immobility. Histological analysis 1 day after DEDTC administration detected expression of heat shock protein in the hippocampus restricted to hilar cells. These cells colocalize the marker for neurons and the glutamate receptor GluR2/3 showing that they are excitatory neurons. Additionally, they projected to the contralateral dentate gyrus.
