Šī darba mērķis ir norādīt, ka H.P. Graisa Sadarbības principa (SP) ietvaros formulētā pieeja ironiskiem izteikumiem, un metodes tajos ietverto implikatūru atvasināšanai, nav pielietojamas pietiekami plašam ironisku izteikumu lokam, lai būtu dēvējamas par universālām. Kā alternatīva un veiksmīga metode ironisku izteikumu analīzei, tiks piedāvāta Relevances teorijā ietvertā ironisku izteikumu definēšana ar “atbalsojošanas” un “atsvešinātības” jēdzienu palīdzību. In Europe, Melampsora allii-fragilis f. sp. galanthi-fragilis (syn. Melampsora galanthi-fragilis) has been reported on leaves of snowdrop (Galanthus nivalis) in Romania (Savulescu, 1953; Bagyanarayana, 2005) and on Galanthus plicatus in Ukraine (Gutsevich, 1952). The GBIF Database has additional records of this fungus on G. nivalis from Austria, Czech Republic and France but the USDA SMML Specimens Database has also records from Hungary and Poland. According to this database, the established distribution area of M. allii-fragilis f. sp. galanthi-fragilis is ‘Central Europe’. The effect of the herbicide Dicuran 500 FL (formulated product) on the phenotypical and genotypical changes in procaryotic and eucaryotic organisms was investigated using short-term tests for detecting genotoxins. Since pesticides discharged in the water environment can modulate the mixed-function monooxygenases (MFO) detoxification system of water organisms, the in vivo and in vitro effects of Dicuran on hepatic cytochrome P450 (cyt P450) monooxygenase activities were also examined in juvenile carp (Cyprinus carpio L.). Abstract Two in vitro tests (Ames test and SOS chromotest), one for bacterial mutagenicity and one for primary DNA damage, were assayed to determine the genotoxic activity of 6 pesticides (atrazine, captafol, captan, chlorpyrifosmethyl, molinate and tetrachlorvinphos). Assays were carried out both in the absence and presence of S9 fractions of liver homogenate from rat (Sprague–Dawley) pretreated with Aroclor 1254. Captan and captafol were genotoxic on both the Ames test and the SOS chromotest. Comparisons with mutagenesis data in Salmonella indicated that the SOS assay detected as genotoxic the pesticides that were mutagenic on the Salmonella test. Abstract Glyphosate-based herbicides (GBHs) are the most widespread commonly used broad-spectrum herbicides that contaminate soils and waters, are toxic to bacteria, plants and animals, and have been classified as ‘probably carcinogenic to humans’ by the International Agency for Research on Cancer in 2015. Chemical composition and herbicidal activity of the essential oil from a Cistus ladanifer population from Spain

[EN] The essential oil composition of Cistus ladanifer grown in central Spain was analysed by gas chromatography and gas chromatography/mass spectrometry, revealing it to be rich in oxygenated compounds, with trans-pinocarveol (20.00%), bornyl acetate (7.03%) and terpinen-4-ol (6.37%) as the main monoterpene compounds. Viridiflorol (13.59%) and ledol (4.36%) were the main constituents of the oxygenated sesquiterpene fraction. Large amounts of-pinene (4.70%) were found in the hydrocarbonated fractions. The authors carried out a multi-disciplinary research in order to clarify the native status of Viburnum tinus in Sicily and update the knowledge about its current regional distribution. With this purpose, a large amount of scientific papers on forestry, botany and palaeo- and archaeobotany was consulted; more useful data issued from papers focused on local historical gardens, from archives and from herbarium specimens. First tests of spatially variable rate herbicide application on Durum wheat in Sicily

Using the conventional farming system, durum wheat requires the spraying of high herbicide rates. Herbicide residues can cause pollution of soil and ground water. This paper refers to first tests of spatially variable rate herbicide application on durum wheat. The tests showed the effectiveness of the variable rate herbicide application, which allowed an almost even grain yield over the entire field and a saving of 27% of herbicide mixture.
