Déterminants de la viabilité financière des PME

2020

To be interested in the survival of SME (small and medium-sized enterprises) is to question their ability to create rent and therefore their financial viability. Our panel study on French SMEs, between 2000 and 2018, shows that several factors play a different role in the annuity creation process. If the effectiveness of state governance seems to play a negative role, through the policies put in place, it turns out that debt plays a positive role in the wealth creation process of SME. Given the nature of the goods or service activities, the impact of suppliers and customers is different. In any case, SME in France suffer from a problem of generation renewal and transmission of knowledge whi…

2016

While approaching or even reaching total completeness remains the idealgoal of any species inventory, incomplete samplings are deemed to become more often the rule, that are significantly more difficult to cope with (such as (micro-) invertebrates, for example). However, once post-operated appropriately, incomplete samplings may provide farmore data than it would seem and it is indeed possible to obtain valuable extra information froma reliable mode of extrapolation of the so-called Species Accumulation Curve. In fact, numerous tools designed for the exploitation of incomplete samplings havealready been proposed in the literature but the concern, with these numerous different tools, isprecise…

2015

Landscape-scale management is known to affect pest and biodiversity levels in agroecosystems. Here, we focus on the lanscape drivers of arable weeds, first by reviewing evidence of direct landscape effects on weed species richness and abundance and then by analyzing current knowledge on landscape effects on carabids, which are well-known weed seed predators that contribute to the biological regulation of weeds. Our analysis shows that (i) heterogeneous landscapes usually harbor higher species richness and more diversified communities than simple ones, (ii) total weed and carabid abundances appear seldomly affected by the landscape context of arable fields and (iii) weed seed predation in fi…

The syndrome "basses richesses" of sugar beet in France is associated with different pathogen types and insect vectors

2007

International audience; The syndrome “basses richesses” (SBR) of sugar beet in France is associated with two phloem-restricted uncultivable bacteria: a stolbur phytoplasma and a y-3 proteobacteria. The known vector of proteobacteria is a cixiid planthopper, Pentastiridius leporinus (Hemiptera Cixiidae), formerly shown to transmit both the prokaryotes. The role of P. leporinus and of two other planthopper species, Cixius wagneri and Hyalesthes obsoletus, in spreading the two pathogens to sugar beet were compared and quantified. Because of its abundance and high infection rates with proteobacterium, P. leporinus was confirmed to be the economic vector of SBR disease. P. leporinus and C. wagne…
