Research of organic agricultural production support in Poland

The features of supporting organic production in Poland are analyzed in the article. Poland is characterized by the largest employment of the population and the number of farms in the organic sector among the countries of Europe. Despite the favorable natural and climatic conditions, the scientific and practical base, significant areas occupied by organic production, the powerful export potential of the country, the proportion of organic operators in the structure of agricultural producers is very low. Thermally unstable throughflow of a power–law fluid in a vertical porous cylinder with arbitrary cross–section

Abstract The present paper investigates how the cross–sectional shape of a vertical porous cylinder affects the onset of thermoconvective instability of the Rayleigh–Benard type. The fluid saturating the porous medium is assumed to be a non–Newtonian power–law fluid. A linear stability analysis of the vertical thorughflow is carried out. Three special shapes of the cylinder cross–section are analysed: square, circular and elliptical. The effect of changing the power–law index is investigated. The stability of a steady base state with vertical throughflow is analysed. Linear instability of the vertical throughflow in a horizontal porous layer saturated by a power-law fluid

Abstract The effects of the vertical throughflow of a non-Newtonian power-law fluid on the onset of convective instability in a horizontal porous layer are investigated. The extended Darcy’s model of momentum diffusion is employed together with the Oberbeck–Boussinesq approximation. A stationary basic solution for the vertical throughflow is determined analytically. The basic velocity and temperature fields turn out to be independent of the non-Newtonian rheology. A linear stability analysis is carried out, leading to a fourth-order eigenvalue problem. Purpose: ‘Company Specific Production Systems’ (XPS) aim to adopt ‘best practice’ across plants within a company. A pertinent issue in the literature involves the constraints in the possibilities of realising such an adoption. This paper addresses to what extent and how a Norwegian multinational succeeded in adopting the XPS in its local plants. Design/methodology/approach: A Brazilian, Chinese and Norwegian plant of a Norwegian electro-chemical company were studied from 2017 to 2019. The aim of this paper is to analyse the interrelation between entrepreneurial capital and productive efficiency of the Spanish regions while verifying the importance that business dynamics and entrepreneurial activity have on regional economic growth. For this purpose, data are used from the seventeen Spanish regions during the period 2003−2016. A multi-equation model is estimated that enables the analysis, on the one hand, of the existence of a causal relationship between business dynamics and entrepreneurial activity and, on the other hand, of these variables on the total factor productivity. Magnetic susceptibility and nuclear magnetic shielding at the nuclei of bis-heteropentalenes formed by two furan units ([2,3-b], [3,2-b], [3,4-b], and [3,4-c] isomers) have been computed by several approximated techniques and a large Gaussian basis set to achieve near Hartree–Fock estimates. Ab initio models of the ring currents induced by a magnetic field normal to the molecular plane were obtained for the three isomeric systems of higher symmetry, showing that the π electrons give rise to intense diamagnetic circulation. Esto supone urdir redes de innovación más complejas entre actores heterogéneos (empresas, universidades, centros tecnológicos, etc.), lo que genera una tensión política de integración/fragmentación de dichas redes.
