Vuoden 1997 työmarkkinatukiuudistuksen tavoitteena oli aktivoida alle 25-vuotiaiden ammattikouluttamattomien nuorten osallistumista työmarkkinoille ja koulutukseen. Tässä artikkelissa raportoidaan arvioita uudistuksen vaikutuksista 22–24-vuotiaiden NEET-asteeseen, joka mittaa työvoiman ulkopuolella ja työttömänä olevien osuutta ikäryhmästä. Tilastollisessa tarkastelussa hyödynnetään Tilastokeskuksen rekisteriaineistoa. Tutkimusmenetelmänä on difference-in-differences – analyysi, jossa uudistuksen kohteeksi joutuneen toimenpideryhmän työmarkkinakehitystä verrataan verrokkiryhmän kehitykseen. However, studies comparing their effects on obesity show controversial findings regarding weight loss. Adenosine has emerged as a possible, novel therapeutic agent to treat obesity, but more preclinical studies on its efficacy are needed. Preventive Impact of Long-Term Ingestion of Chestnut Honey on Glucose Disorders and Neurodegeneration in Obese Mice

The purpose of the present study was to evaluate the impact of long-term honey ingestion on metabolic disorders and neurodegeneration in mice fed a high-fat diet (HFD). Three groups of mice were fed with a standard diet (STD), HFD or HFD supplemented with honey (HFD-H) for 16 weeks. Biochemical, histological, Western blotting, RT-PCR and Profiler PCR array were performed to assess metabolic parameters, peripheral and central insulin resistance and neurodegeneration. Tässä artikkelissa tarkastelemme Kelan työllistymistä edistävän ammatillisen kuntoutuksen osapuolten kuvauksia suomalaisesta työelämästä. Keskitymme erityisesti työelämään liittyvien myönteisten näköalojen ja niissä esiintyvän optimismin analysointiin. Toivo ja optimismi ovat aiemmissa tutkimuksissa osoittautuneet merkityksellisiksi tekijöiksi työhön paluun prosesseissa. Aineiston muodostivat kuntoutujien, omaohjaajien ja työnantajien haastattelut (47 kappaletta). Kuntoutuksen kaikkien osapuolten puheesta tunnistettiin myönteisiä näköaloja ja erilaisia optimismin muotoja. Background: This article is motivated by the fact that most approaches to capital budgeting are deterministic. In reality, the capital budgeting problem is accompanied by the uncertainty and risk associated with dealing with imprecise data.
