The VET System, Its Subsystems and Their Links with the Labour Market: Strengths, Weaknesses and Challenges of VET in Spain

This chapter provides the reader with the historical and political background to understand the rest of the book, and it also focuses on the key issues affecting VET in Spain in recent times while assessing the quality of VET rather positively. I explain the parallel development of three different subsystems and their approaches and efforts to reintegrate them. I also show conflicts over control upon VET governance and the role of national and regional governments as well as employers and union representatives in the design of qualifications. Transitions between education and employment, careers guidance and the connections of VET to social policies are also addressed.

Tässä kriittisessä esseessä luon yleiskatsauksen koulutuksen digitaalisen datafikaation erilaisiin muotoihin ja merkityksiin erityisesti kotimaisessa kontekstissa. Esseessä käyn läpi datafikaation suhdetta muihin koulutusta ohjaaviin trendeihin, erityisesti digitalisaatioon, oppimiskeskeisyyteen ja tulosvastuullisuuteen. Lisäksi tarkastelen datan ja datan diskursiivisen tuottamisen välistä epäsuhtaa, josta jatkan koulun dataintensiivisten käytäntöjen kautta tapahtuvan jatkuvan datankeruun luonnollistumisen tarkasteluun. However, the economic analysis of human capital presents a large number of difficulties, especially since the mechanisms that allow the accumulation of this type of capital, skills and knowledge, are intrinsic to human nature and, in general, are difficult to determine. En la València de finals de l’Edat Mitjana existí una reduïda inserció de l’ensenyament de les lletres en el món de l’aprenentatge domèstic. Per a les famílies benestants, l’escola de gramàtica era la prolongació de l’ensenyament domèstic allí on no arribava la competència paterna. L’església era l’única institució que, fins finals del segle XIV, comptava amb els mitjans i personal necessari per a mantenir escoles. A partir de 1373 la intervenció municipal posà fi al monopoli eclesiàstic. Durant el segle XV coexistiren les escoles subvencionades per l’esglèsia i pel municipi, juntament amb altres d’independents.

Fue catedrático de la Escuela Normal de Alicante en las primeras décadas del siglo XX, renovador de la pedagogía. Fue concejal por Izquierda Republicana en el Ayuntamiento de Alicante durante la Segunda república y desarrolló un plan ambicioso de escuelas públicas, fue diputado por Izquierda Republicana en 1936 y fusilado en 1939. Tarkastelemme historian ylioppilaskokeen aineistopohjaisia tehtävänantoja, tehtävänantoihin liittyviä aineistoja sekä pisteysohjeita historian tekstitaitojen näkökulmasta. Tiedonalalähtöisen historiaopetuksen lähtökohtana pidetään historiallisen ajattelun harjaannuttamista, mikä edellyttää alkuperäislähteiden kanssa työskentelemistä: kykyä tulkita lähteitä ja niiden tekijöiden intentioita sekä arvioida lähteiden pohjalta tehtyjä tulkintoja. Ylioppilaskokeilla on merkittävä vaikutus opetukseen ja arviointiin. Jotta ylioppilaskokeen tehtävät ohjaisivat vahvistamaan historian tekstitaitoja ja edelleen historiallista ajattelua, tulisi tehtävien ohjata työskentelemään aineistojen kanssa.
