La Blanca, un asentamiento urbano maya en la cuenca del río Mopán

[EN] The purpose of this paper is to discuss about a recent research carried out at La Blanca, an ancient Mayan settlement in Guatemala. The urban and architectural features of this site reveal us important data about its social and cultural significance, and also about the role it played in the Mopan river basin area. The research methodology as well as La Blanca cultural heritage enhancement has produced results that demonstrated the possibility of conducting social action aimed at promoting economic and cultural developing of neighboring communities.

Exhibiting evidence of the applicability of scales developed in one society to other societies is a critical issue in establishing the general models of consumer behavior. This study investigates the measurement model of adolescent influence tactics with their parents in family vacation decision making in 19 societies. By conducting a series of exploratory and confirmatory factor analyses, adolescent influence behavior emerges in a refined and validated model of four subscales indicating its construct equivalence across societies. Development and Maintenance of Self-Disclosure on Facebook: The Role of Personality Traits

This study explored the relationships between Facebook self-disclosure and personality traits in a sample of Italian users. The aim was to analyze the predictive role of Big Five personality traits on different parameters of breadth and depth of self-disclosed behaviors online. Facebook users, aged between 18 and 64 years of age ( M age = 25.3 years, SD = 6.8; N = 958), of which 51% were female, voluntarily completed an online survey assessing personality traits and Facebook self-disclosure. El presente artículo pretende ofrecer un análisis acerca de las referencias a la educación en valores presentes en la legislación educativa española desde que la reforma de la década de los noventa, la conocida LOGSE entró en vigor. Ofrece un breve repaso de las reformas legales posteriores a la LOGSE, en cuanto a sus indicaciones sobre el proceso educativo como un proceso educativo global, centrado más en educar y formar ciudadanos críticos que ciudadanos en posesión de simples contenidos conceptuales.
