Abstract Objectives. Oxybutynin has been used for treatment of urge urinary incontinence for more than 20 years. However, one of the major problems with its use is uncomfortable anticholinergic side effects that can lead to discontinuation of treatment. Alternative forms of drug administration may reduce side effects and thus improve patient compliance. Methods. A cylinder-shaped, curved silicone elastomer insert containing oxybutynin was anchored in the vagina of female rabbits. The inserts were designed to release oxybutynin at rates of 0.5, 1.0, and 5.0 mg/day, respectively. La question de l'imagination est envisagée non pas dans l'histoire longue des idées libertines, mais dans le cadre de ce que nous appelons une « conjoncture libertine ». Une controverse, lisible dans trois écrits pendant « la possession de Loudun » (1634-35), montre que le discours en faveur de l'imagination des possédées a pu être mis du côté du libertinage dans le cadre d'une stratégie politique, autour de Richelieu, de définition des idées médicales et d’affirmation de la liberté des auteurs.

This article describes Antiphonarium ecclesiae Parochialis Oppoliensis – Carl Julius Adolph Hoffmann’s antiphonary prepared for the needs of parish musical and liturgical life. The collection is presented against the background of all the activities of this famous Opole music director. From the very beginning of his work in Opole he was committed to raising the local music culture – first in the parish, in the field of religious music, and then also in the whole city, enlivening its concert life. As a result he also improved the level of education and musical awareness of the city’s inhabitants.

The paper introduces the splendid representations of Emperor Constantine the Great and Saint Helena in Jan Kuben’s frescos in the church under invocation of the Triumph of the Cross in Brzeg. They testify strongly of the incessant presence of the creative reflection over the Christian ancient times in the area of Opole Silesia in the period of the Catholic reform in the 18th century. Kuben’s trompe-l’oeil constitutes a wonderful combination of deeply experienced Catholic spirituality with the genius of the artist – a visionary.

Diastaza i Duch Święty w myśli młodego Karla Bartha

Artykuł jest komentarzem do wykładu K. Bartha Der Heilige Geist und das christliche Leben. Centralną myśl stanowi teza, że nie istnieje żadna forma „kontynuacji” (Kontinuität) między duchem człowieka a Duchem Boga. Ten brak ciągłości widoczny jest w tajemnicy stworzenia – istnieje ontologiczna „nieciągłość” (Diskontinuität) między stworzeniem a Stwórcą. Podobną „nieciągłość” zauważa Barth w tajemnicy pojednania – grzech oddziela człowieka od Tego, który jest Święty. Także w tajemnicy odkupienia różnica między czasem a wiecznością tworzy diastazę między żyjącym w czasie człowiekiem a wiecznym Bogiem. Relacja między nimi może zaistnieć jedynie w wyniku cudu Bożej łaski.

W nowej rzeczywistości po odzyskaniu przez Polskę niepodległości zostały podjęte przez władze Zgromadzenia Misjonarzy Świętej Rodziny działania mające na celu utworzenie domu zakonnego w Wieluniu. Nastąpiło to po aprobacie bpa Stanisława Zdzitowieckiego w 1920 r. W kolejnym roku doszło do przejęcia przez zakon dawnego klasztoru poaugustiańskiego w Wieluniu. Wkrótce nastąpił rozwój duszpasterstwa i rozpoczęły się prace remontowe średniowiecznego klasztoru. Szczególny nacisk misjonarze położyli na katechizację, głoszenie misji i odprawianie nabożeństw. The study is concerned with analyzing from both a historical and a legal point of view the recognition of ecclesiastical academic titles in light of the agreements between the Holy See and Italy. More precisely, it deals with the process that, from art. 10, paragraph 2 of the “Villa Madama Agreements”, has led, thanks to the Lisbon Convention and the so-called “Bologna Process”, to the agreement of February 13, 2019.
