Latent profile analysis (LPA) is a person-centered method commonly used in organizational research to identify homogeneous subpopulations of employees within a heterogeneous population. However, in the case of nested data structures, such as employees nested in work departments, multilevel techniques are needed. Multilevel LPA (MLPA) enables adequate modeling of subpopulations in hierarchical data sets. The objective of this study was to explore the demographic and behavioural profiles of patients affected by oral cavity diseases on a wide spectrum. A series of 1,1′-binaphthyl-2-methylammonium and pyridinium salts 6, 7, and 8 was synthesized through the coupling reaction of 2-(bromomethyl)-1,1′-binaphthalene (5) with the dendritic tetraallyl pyridinedicarbinol dendron 2 as well as triethylamine and 4-tert-butylpyridine. Tetraallyl pyridinedicarbinol dendron 2 was prepared by allylation of commercially available diethyl pyridine-3,5-dicarboxylate (1). On the Porosity of Free Boundaries in Degenerate Variational Inequalities

Abstract In this note we consider a certain degenerate variational problem with constraint identically zero. The exact growth of the solution near the free boundary is established. A consequence of this is that the free boundary is porous and therefore its Hausdorff dimension is less than N and hence it is of Lebesgue measure zero.

In this thesis we present an overview of some important known facts related to topology, geometry and calculus on metric spaces. We discuss the well known problem of the existence of a lipschitz equivalent metric to a given quasiultrametric, revisiting known results and counterexamples and providing some new theorems, in an unified approach. Defying Stereotypes with Nanodiamonds: Stable Primary Diamondoid Phosphines

International audience; Direct unequal C-H bond difunctionalization of phosphorylated diamantane was achieved in high yield from the corresponding phosphonates. Reduction of the functionalized phosphonates provides access to novel primary and secondary alkyl/aryl diamantane phosphines. The prepared primary diamantyl phosphines are quite air stable compared to their adamantyl and especially alkyl or aryl analogues. This finding is corroborated by comparing the singly occupied molecular orbital energy levels of the corresponding phosphine radical cations obtained by density functional theory computations.

In this article, we present an overview of the present state of the art of the theory of high-resolution spherical-top spectra in the framework of the effective Hamiltonian approach. We describe the specific features of this class of molecules to explain the basic concepts of the theoretical methods used for the analysis (line positions and intensities) and the simulation of absorption (including pure rotation) and Raman spectra of such species. Abstract Let F be a field of characteristic zero. In this paper we study the variety of Leibniz algebras V ˜ 1 defined by the identity y 1 ( y 2 y 3 ) ( y 4 y 5 ) ≡ 0 . We give a complete description of the space of multilinear identities in the language of Young diagrams through the representation theory of the symmetric group. As an outcome we show that the variety V ˜ 1 has almost polynomial growth, i.e., the sequence of codimensions of V ˜ 1 cannot be bounded by any polynomial function but any proper subvariety of V ˜ 1 as polynomial growth.
