Background. Quality of care and provider’s experience seem to be strictly connected in any field of surgery. Aim of this study is to identify a method to classify the centers on the basis of the number of thyroidectomies and parathyroidectomies performed. Methods. We listed 666 centers performing endocrine neck surgery in 2015, from the database of the Italian Health Ministry. We performed a descriptive statistic analysis with a dedicated software. In this study we aimed to identify unwarranted pages and to establish ways to reduce them.Over 2 months, all pages to the Department of Pediatric Urology at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Canada, during call hours were documented, including the assessment of the responding physicians of their medical necessity. Abstract We evaluated the Panbio™ COVID‐19 Ag Rapid Test Device as a point‐of‐care diagnostic tool for COVID‐19 in 357 patients at a pediatric emergency department. Thirty‐four patients tested positive by reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction, of which 24 were positive by the antigen assay. The sensitivity and specificity of the assay were 70.5% and 100%, respectively.
