El presente artículo describe en síntesis los orígenes y desarrollo literario posterior del tema Grial, desde las primeras leyendas artúricas. Pese a sus posibles inicios paganos, el Grial pronto es identificado con el Santo Cáliz de la Última Cena, lo que imprime un carácter religioso a los relatos en los que se integra el motivo de su búsqueda como objeto perdido. A partir del siglo XIV esa religiosidad se desdibuja y cuando el tema del Grial sea recuperado para la literatura y el arte será como objeto de valor místico o espiritual, que supera el sentido netamente cristiano que tuvo en el Medievo. Liturgiczna modlitwa Kościoła powinna obejmować wszystkie przestrzenie życia człowieka wierzącego. Nie można jej ograniczać tylko do spraw duchowych, ale należy w nią włączać również istotne faktory społeczne. Ks. prof. dr hab. Adam Ludwik Szafrański był znany w środowisku jako promotor ludzi świeckich w Kościele. Dotyczyło to przede wszystkim, choć nie wyłącznie, ludzi świeckich studiujących teologię, co w okresie posoborowym było pewną nowością, ale też rodziło opory, obecne zresztą do dnia dzisiejszego. Zaangażowanie ks. Szafrańskiego w promocję laikatu wynikało z jego rozległej i głębokiej wiedzy teologicznej, szerokich horyzontów myślenia i otwartości. Wydaje się, że można zarysować trzy główne nurty uwarunkowań, które stanowiły podstawę promocji ludzi świeckich. Należą do nich uwarunkowania eklezjologiczne, uwarunkowania sakramentologiczne i uwarunkowania pastoralne.

An experimental investigation, at the moment in progress, for the evaluation of the seismic vulnerability of a monumental structure and the effects of some reinforcement devices are presented. Referring to this monumental structure, that is a church, the authors obtained the dynamically identified analytical model and recognized that the drum-dome system was one of the macro-elements with highest risk. This result was obtained by analyzing the linear behaviour. In order to study the nonlinear behaviour, tests on reduced scale models were necessary. Antimicrobial peptides (AMPs) and lysozymes are the main effectors of the insect immune system, and they are involved in both local and systemic responses. Among local responses, midgut immune reaction plays an important role in fighting pathogens that reach the insect body through the oral route, as do many microorganisms used in pest control.
