In this essay the author proposes a reconstruction of the environment as a right of the person and of environmental damage as an existential damage aimed at filling that void of protection in environmental matters denounced by the internal and European courts. In particular, in the Italian legal system, the absence of remedies that allow the individual affected person to obtain compensation protection reveals, on the basis of current legislation, within the Italian legal system, a dangerous vacuum of protection. This paper proposes an anthropological reflection on the connection between social inequality and Roma/ Gypsies’ religious experience in Italy, focusing on religious practices between Orthodox Christians and Muslims Roma groups living in marginal conditions. The essay, finally, refers to the way in which the Italian state does not consider the religious practices of the Roma and the issue of human rights, stressing that the religious dimension is totally ignored at government level because of harmful categorization and discriminatory attitude.

A long road was necessary for economic and social rights to be internationally recognized. In fact, it was only after the Second World War that the protection of human rights, including economic and social rights, became one of the aims of the United Nations. Despite that, this legal protection was by no means made without controversies, especially when it comes to economic and social rights. The fact that most of the articles of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights refer to civil and political rights corroborates these difficulties. Abstract The repeal of humanitarian protection in law 132/2018 and the constitutional right to asylum by Carla Negri The article analyzes the humanitarian protection news contained in the law 132/2018. The changes introduced pose some interpretive problems on the tem- poral effects of the repeal of humanitarian protection and their impact on the right to asylum under article 10.3 of the Italian Constitution. The paper focuses, in particular, on the relationship between humanitarian protection and the right to asylum, highlighting the need for the intervention of the Italian Constitutional Court, in order to participate in the construction of a common European right of asylum.

The present thesis illustrates how the "creeping occupation" violates Georgia’s territorial integrity and fundamental human rights based on the historical, as well as the 2008 and subsequent developments. Stemming from the current political events, the number of IDPs is a big problem across the world. All this is stipulated by very common international or non-international conflicts that are happening in today's world. These conflicts also include the problems of people internally displaced from the occupied territories in Georgia.
