Phenomenology was born as an attack against the false constructions of traditional philosophy. Nevenheless, it soon discovered that it had an important bond to Plato's, Descartes' or Kant's philosophical systems. As I show in this paper, both in Heidegger and in Husserl's last writings, the philosophical endeavor is interpreted as a retrieval of earlier philosophical intentions. However, this does not lead them to a common interpretation of the meaning of philosophy's history.

The paper discusses the problem of the relationship between ethics and truth starting from a critique of the contemporary paradigm of post-truth. The opposition between objectivity and subjectivism that is the basis of this paradigm is questioned by inserting the medium term of objectivity as fairness. The truth is thus recovered as an exceding dimension that can never be completely owned. This paper discusses Achille Mbembe’s critique of racial segregation taken as the descriptive and theoretical ground for a critical anthropology. Mbembe’s most important works On the Postcolony (2000), Critique de la Raison Nègre (2013), and Politiques de l’intimité (2016) are read as a coherent system aimed at unfolding the philosophical meaning of different forms of racial segregation. Race is outlined as a principle of separation whose broader meaning lies in forcing the multi-layered human experience into rigid categories, thereby achieving the objectifying of humans. Lauri Rauhalan holistiseen ihmiskäsitykseen kuuluvaa kehollisuuden olemispuolta on aiemmin tarkasteltu ainoastaan aineellis-orgaanisena tapahtumisena. Holistisessa kontekstissaan kehollisuus näyttäytyy kuitenkin myös persoonan elettynä kehona. Artikkeli tarjoaa filosofisen ja holistisen näkökulman addiktiokeskusteluun vallitsevan biomedikaalisen sairausoletuksen sijaan. Unas reflexiones sobre el problema de la intencionalidad podrían deparar la ocasión para evocar las líneas fundamentales del sistema de Husserl, centrándolas en un problema concreto y evitando la superficialidad o el esquematismo en que hubiera incurrido fatalmente si hubiera querido trazar algo así como una panorámica de su pensamiento. Por otra parte, el examen de la intencionalidad me permitirá, apuntar hacia dos aspectos de la fenomenología que me parecen importantes.
