Chromatin-dependent regulation of RNA polymerases II and III activity throughout the transcription cycle

The particular behaviour of eukaryotic RNA polymerases along different gene regions and amongst distinct gene functional groups is not totally understood. To cast light onto the alternative active or backtracking states of RNA polymerase II, we have quantitatively mapped active RNA polymerases at a high resolution following a new biotin-based genomic run-on (BioGRO) technique. Compared with conventional profiling with chromatin immunoprecipitation, the analysis of the BioGRO profiles in Saccharomyces cerevisiae shows that RNA polymerase II has unique activity profiles at both gene ends, which are highly dependent on positioned nucleosomes. Abstract Synchrotron-based photoemission spectroscopies were used to study the adsorption of tungsten hexacarbonyl on (1 1 0) TiO 2 surfaces: experiments using W4f and Ti2p intensities variations show that, at 140 K, the hexacarbonyl growth proceeds via a layer-by-layer mode. Moreover, it was evidenced using both core levels and valence band experiments that, after back to room temperature, W(CO) 6 desorbs without significant decomposition. However, low energy (500 eV) ion (Ar + ) irradiation can allow partial decomposition of tungsten hexacarbonyl molecules leading to sub-carbonyl tungsten molecules. Starting from a stationary state in order to feed a process, the idea of movement in music can affect both the sound material and the listening (the Hoerspiel...), both the view (musical theater) and the ancillary disciplines (dance or maping-video)... Based on examples taken in the 20th and 21st centuries (Debussy, Berg, Webern, Stravinsky, Stockhausen, Kagel, Ferrari, La Monte Young, Xenakis, Adams, De Chizy, De Mey, Trapani?), musicological study ultimately deduces that the metaphor of movement is for man an experience considered fundamental to his particular relationship to the world.

A recent development in warfare has been the integration of Electronic Warfare (EW), Information Warfare (IW) and Cyber Warfare (CW) systems designed to generate non-kinetic effects in battle space together with the traditional use of kinetic weapons. These new capacities of armed forces create new possibilities to achieve the goals of war. These advanced and new capabilities form a whole new non-kinetic environment in which they have become a game changer in battle space.
