Resumen La satisfacción laboral del colectivo docente ha sido estudiada desde diversas perspectivas, debido a los importantes efectos que esta puede tener tanto a nivel económico como a nivel organizacional. La muestra empleada en este trabajo se compone de 978 docentes dominicanos, y fue obtenida mediante un muestreo estratificado, y, por tanto, representativo de la población. En este estudio se examina un modelo de ecuaciones estructurales en el cual el contexto de trabajo y las condiciones laborales afectan el burnout y el engagement de los profesores. Both cardiorespiratory fitness (CRF) and frequency of sauna bathing (FSB) are each strongly and independently associated with sudden cardiac death (SCD) risk. However, the combined effect of CRF and FSB on SCD risk has not been previously investigated. We evaluated the joint impact of CRF and FSB on the risk of SCD in the Kuopio Ischemic Heart Disease prospective cohort study of 2291 men aged 42–61 years at recruitment. Las neoplasias mieloides relacionadas con la terapia (NMRT) se definen como aquellas leucemias mieloblásticas agudas (LMA) ó síndromes mielodisplásicos (SMD) desarrollados en pacientes previamente tratados con quimioterapia, radioterapia ó la combinación de ambas por una patología previa. Constituyen una de las mayores complicaciones de los supervivientes de otras formas de cáncer, representando entre un 10-20% de las LMA en el momento actual. Minäpystyvyys on Albert Banduran kehittämä käsite, joka on osa sosio-kognitiivista teoriaa. Tämä pro gradu -tutkielma tutkielma on osa Jyväskylän yliopiston, Kelan sekä Kuntoutus Peurungan yhteistä tutkimushanketta (2015-2019). Tässä tutkimuksessa on tarkoitus selvittää, millaisia näkemyksiä sydänkuntoutujilla on minäpystyvyydestä etäkuntoutuksen alussa. Tutkimuksen aineistona oli seitsemän ryhmähaastattelua, tutkittavina oli yhteensä 65 sydänkuntoutujaa. Aineistona oli 396 min haastattelua, joista kertyi 283 A4 sivua litteroitua tekstiä. The objectives of our research were to study the chemical composition and the in vitro anticancer effect of the essential oil of Salvia verbenaca growing in natural sites in comparison with those of cultivated (Sc) plants. The oil from wild (Sw) S. verbenaca presented hexadecanoic acid (23.1%) as the main constituent, while the oil from Sc plants contained high quantities of hexahydrofarnesyl acetone (9.7%), scarce in the natural oil (0.7%). Background: There are marked sex differences in cardiovascular disease (CVD) manifestation. It is largely unknown how the distribution of CVD risk factors or intermediate phenotypes explain sex-specific differences. Methods and Results: In 5000 individuals of the population-based Gutenberg Health Study, mean age 55 ± 11 years, 51% males, we examined sex-specific associations of classical CVD risk factors with intima-media thickness, ankle-brachial index, flow-mediated dilation, peripheral arterial tonometry, echocardiographic, and electrocardiographic variables. A partir del Epistolario inédito de Antonio Perrenot de Granvela, custodiado en la Biblioteca Nacional de España, se han editado un centenar de cartas, escritas en francés, por el protonotario Andrés de Castillo. Las cartas comprenden el período entre 1537 y 1544 y abordan los asuntos relativos a las cuestiones administrativas y jurídicas de la familia Granvela ante la Santa Sede. Las cartas pertenecen a los códices: 7906 y 20210 de la Biblioteca Nacional de España con sede en Madrid. Andrés de Castillo, de quien desconocemos los datos biográficos, estaba al servicio de la familia Granvela y gestionaba para todos sus miembros los asuntos relativos a los beneficios y los títulos eclesiástico…
