A lo largo de esta tesis, defenderé una lectura de los conflictos de valores que asume la pérdida trágica como un hecho inevitable. Desde esta lectura, allí donde dos valores o demandas entran en tensión genuina, atesorar o responder a uno de ellos comporta renunciar al otro, sin que un premio ulterior compense el daño causado por la pérdida. The efficacy of ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer films (EVOH) incorporating the essential oil components cinnamaldehyde (CINHO), citral (CIT), isoeugenol (IEG), or linalool (LIN) to control growth rate (GR) and production of T-2 and HT-2 toxins by Fusarium sporotrichioides cultured on oat grains under different temperature (28, 20, and 15 °C) and water activity (aw) (0.99 and 0.96) regimes was assayed. GR in controls/treatments usually increased with increasing temperature, regardless of aw, but no significant differences concerning aw were found. Gambling Disorder is a prevalent non-substance use disorder, which contrasts with the low number of people requesting treatment. MicroRNA regulation activity depends on the recognition of binding sites located on mRNA molecules. The roll out of Anti-Retroviral Therapy across Sub-Saharan Africa has given rise to a new generation of adolescents that previously would not have survived into their teen years. The aim of this research is to give voice to these young people, specifically HIV positive students, in the rural, post-conflict area of Katakwi, Uganda.
