The entropy model developed by Chiu (1988) allows to correlate the mean velocity, um, and the maximum velocity, umax by means of a linear relationship, um, = Φ (M) umax, which depends on the entropy parameter, M, characteristic of the fluvial section. International audience; The aim of this work was to compare the effects of coconut and salmon oils on rat liver microsomal Δ6 and Δ5 desaturations, during protein restriction. A higher Δ6 desaturase activity was noted in rats fed the low-protein coconut oil diet, in comparison with that occurring in rats fed either a low-protein or normal-protein salmon oil diet. No variation was observed in Δ5 desaturase activity or in 20:4n-6/ 18:2n-6 ratio. The fatty acid composition of liver microsomal phospholipids provided evidence of higher levels of 20:5n-3 and 22:6n-3 in the normal-protein salmon oil group, when compared with the low-protein salmon oil group. Taxonomic Revision of the Genus Trictenotoma Gray, 1832 (Coleoptera: Trictenotomidae). Part 2 – Species from Hainan and Taiwan

Trictenotoma davidi Deyrolle, 1875 and T. formosanaKriesche, 1919 are the only insular Palaearctic Trictenotomidae. Both species are related and T. formosana was originally defined on the basis of unstable morphological features and originally described as a subspecies of T. davidi. In this paper, a detailed redescription of T. formosana is provided, male and female genital organs are described and illustrated for the first time and the lectotype is designated. Hainan (China) records of T. davidi are presented and morphological variability of this taxon is discussed. The first observation of Trictenotomidae mating behaviour is briefly described.

A review and species key to TrictenotomaGray, 1832 (Trictenotomidae Blanchard, 1845) from the Indochina bioregion, mainland Southeast Asia, is presented for the first time. Adults of Trictenotoma childreniGray, 1832, T. davidi Deyrolle, 1875 and T. mouhoti Deyrolle, 1875 are redescribed. Trictenotoma pollockisp. nov. from southern Vietnam is described and illustrated. A lectotype is designated for T. mouhoti Deyrolle, 1875.

Possession time in football has been widely discussed in research but few studies have analyzed the importance of the field area in which possession occurs. The objective of this study was to identify the existence of significant differences in the field zone of ball possession between successful and unsuccessful teams and to acknowledge if the match status modulates the possession model. Water quality in forests small retention reservoirs in southern Poland

W pracy przedstawiono analizę jakości wód z terenów trzech nowopowstałych zbiorników małej retencji leśnej (Rudziczka, Niemysłowice I, zbiornik Paciorkowy) zlokalizowanych na terenie Nadleśnictwa Prudnik, w województwie opolskim (południowa Polska). Głównymi funkcjami zbiorników są retencja wody, ochrona przeciwpowodziowa i przeciwpożarowa, funkcje rekreacyjna i ekologiczna. W pracy przedstawiono wyniki badań wykonanych w grudniu 2014 i w maju 2015 roku. Oceny jakości wód dokonano zgodnie z obowiązującymi przepisami w sprawie oceny jakości wód.
