Background: Pictorial warnings may contribute to lower attractiveness of smoking, particularly among adolescents. The present study compared the impact of two different label styles of tobacco product warnings (textual and pictorial) among adolescents in a new standardized way, using the Adolescent Label Impact Index (ALII). Methods: A school-based cross-sectional study was conducted. Adolescent aged 10–20 years completed an online questionnaire. Comparison of Structure and Properties of Differently Treated Illite Clay and Products

The investigation is focused on modification of the structure 2:1 sheet silicates - illite clay by subjecting them to chemical and microbiological impact. It is shown that alkaline activation of illite clay by sodium hydroxide leads to the slight structural changes mainly characterized by water link changes. The effect of bacteria Ps. fluorescens AM PS11on structure changes of illite is small and is influenced on rheology of treated clay.It is shown that the influence of chemical treatment on porosity, bulk density and increase of compressive strength of sintered ceramic samples is notable.

The benefit of integrated analysis has been demonstrated in technical literature and it is also required by the EU Water Framework Directive 60/2000, which proposes a water-quality-orientated view of the whole urban drainage system and oversees new ways of assessing its performance. Cruise tourism effetcts in the EU Islands' economies

The theme of ‘the island condition and the characteristics of the EU territories surrounded by the sea has already been treated in a number of studies and in some recent research projects which have highlighted disparities, structural disadvantages and the presence of an economy which relies excessively on tourism. The aim of this paper is to show the incoming tourism or daily visitors’ flows generated by cruises in the EU islands, and to present the tourist expenditure matrix and the composition of the main expenses. The results seem to show that local economies generated by cruise daily visitors if combined with local productions, could have a good level of economic impact.
The adoption of the Euro by Romania

As Romania has joined the European Union, the European currency must be adopted even though it may raise some problems regarding conversion, the impact on goods and services expenses on the interior market having a direct effect on the population and the national economy because we don’t know which the trajectory of the Euro will be. This paper takes a look at the advantages and disadvantages of the adoption of the unique currency in our country taking into account the time factor and the behaviour we must have regarding the Euro, establishing the issues we must take a close look at when the initial term of adoption must be respected.
