The "Historia de la doncella Teodor" in Burgos’ Printing Press: Regarding a New Edition from Juan de Junta’s Workshop, c. 1535-1540

En este trabajo se da noticia y se lleva a cabo el estudio tipobibliográfico de una edición sine notis de la Historia de la doncella Teodor. El análisis permite identificar la impresión en Burgos en el taller de Juan de Junta, c. 1535-1540. El rasgo material que singulariza este impreso es que la última hoja del primer cuaderno ha sido remedada por una copia manuscrita que no solo reproduce la tipografía original, sino también, a plumilla, las estampas. El estudio textual e iconográfico nos permitirá identificar la fuente del folio contrahecho.

New trials in the consolidation of waterlogged archaeological wood with different acetone-carried products

Some acetone-carried consolidants for waterlogged archaeological wood were tested in order to evaluate treatments able to save time and energy. In details, colophony (rosin), two esterified colophonies (Rosin 100® and Rosin 459®), a mixture of colophony with PEG 3400 and a vinyl acetate - vinyl versate copolymer (Vinavil 8020S®) were tested. The treatments were carried out at temperatures of 20 and 35 °C on waterlogged maritime pine, elm, oak and beech. Presentamos el estudio de los restos cerámicos de la fase neolítica de Kaf Taht el-Ghar (Mechrouha, Tetuán, Marruecos), enfocado principalmente en el análisis de técnicas y patrones decorativos. Ello cuenta con el interés añadido de corresponder, en su fase antigua, a las cerámicas asociadas a las primeras evidencias de agricultura y ganadería en el Magreb Occidental, encuadradas en el tercer cuarto del VI milenio cal AC. Abstract Based on a survey administered in 13 prisons in England & Wales and Norway, as part of a research programme with explicitly comparative aims, this article seeks to address both the relative and absolute dimensions of the Nordic penal exceptionalism thesis. It outlines the consistently more positive results in Norway compared to England & Wales, explaining them primarily with reference to the former’s much higher quality and use of open prisons.
