Abstract Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) are prevalent in the migrant population with increased years of residency in the host country. In this regard, health education and lifestyle interventions have proven to be cost-effective modifying risk factors. The Spanish pilot of the Mig-HealthCare project directly aims to reduce the prevalence of NCDs reducing the well-known “healthy migrant effect” by increasing the levels of health literacy and also turning the lifestyles of the participants into healthier habits in the host country. Abstract Cancer registries must provide complete and reliable incidence information with the shortest possible delay for use in studies such as comparability, clustering, cancer in the elderly and adequacy of cancer surveillance. Methods of varying complexity are available to registries for monitoring completeness and timeliness. Iterative approximation to a coincidence point of two mappings

In this article two methods for approximating the coincidence point of two mappings are studied and moreover, rates of convergence for both methods are given. These results are illustrated by several examples, in particular we apply such results to study the convergence and their rate of convergence of these methods to the solution of a nonlinear integral equation and of a nonlinear differential equation.

This paper shows for a class of differential games that the global Stackelberg equilibrium (GSE) coincides with the feedback Stackelberg equilibrium (FSE), although the GSE assumes that the leader/regulator an- nounces at the initial time the regulatory instrument rule she will follow for the rest of the game, while in the FSE, the regulator at any time chooses the optimal level of the regulatory instrument rate. On the Coincidence of the Feedback Nash and Stackelberg Equilibria in Economic Applications of Differential Games

In this paper the scope of the applicability of the Stackelberg equilibrium concept in differential games is investigated. Firstly, conditions for obtaining the coincidence between the Stackelberg and Nash equilibria are defined in terms of the instantaneous pay-off function and the state equation of the game. Secondly, it is showed that for a class of differential games with state-interdependence both equilibria are identical independently of the player being the leader of the game. $varphi$-pairs and common fixed points in cone metric spaces

In this paper we introduce a contractive condition, called $\varphi \textrm{-}pair$, for two mappings in the framework of cone metric spaces and we prove a theorem which assures existence and uniqueness of common fixed points for $\varphi \textrm{-}pairs$. Also we obtain a result on points of coincidence. These results extend and generalize well-known comparable results in the literature.

Abstract In this paper we introduce some contractive conditions of Meir–Keeler type for two mappings, called f - M K -pair mappings and f - C J M -pair (from Ciric, Jachymski, and Matkowski) mappings, in the framework of regular cone metric spaces and we prove theorems which guarantee the existence and uniqueness of common fixed points. We give also a fixed point result for a multivalued mapping that satisfies a contractive condition of Meir–Keeler type. These results extend and generalize some recent results from the literature. To conclude the paper, we extend our main result to non-regular cone metric spaces by using the scalarization method of Du.
Numerical decomposition of geometric constraints

Geometric constraint solving is a key issue in CAD/CAM. Since Owen's seminal paper, solvers typically use graph based decomposition methods. However, these methods become difficult to implement in 3D and are misled by geometric theorems. We extend the Numerical Probabilistic Method (NPM), well known in rigidity theory, to more general kinds of constraints and show that NPM can also decompose a system into rigid subsystems. Classical NPM studies the structure of the Jacobian at a random (or generic) configuration.
