Personīgās informācijas organizēšanas un pārvaldīšanas tēma kļūst arvien aktuālāka. Pateicoties tehnoloģiju attīstībai, īpaši svarīga kļūst informācija, kas atrodas digitālajā vidē, kā arī daļa no aktīvākajiem šīs informācijas izmantotājiem – studentiem. Bakalaura darbā “Personiskās informācijas pārvaldība finanšu jomā” pētīta Aknīstes novada iedzīvotāju personiskās informācijas pārvaldība finanšu jomā – kā un vai vispār tā tiek organizēta, kā arī, kādi dokumenti galvenokārt veido iedzīvotāju personisko informāciju finanšu jomā. Pētījuma mērķis ir noskaidrot, kādā veidā Aknīstes novada iedzīvotāji pārvalda savas finanses, kādus rīkus tie izmanto personīgo finanšu pārvaldīšanā. Bakalaura darbā “Personīgās informācijas pārvaldība” tiek pētīti personīgās informācijas pārvaldības paradumi. Pētījuma laikā tiek apskatīts kā tiek pārvaldīta personīgā informācija, kas saglabāta elektroniskā formātā. Informācijas pārpilnības rezultātā bieži vien tiek apgrūtināts personīgās informācijas izguves process un informācija nav atrodama vajadzīgajā laikā. Pētījuma mērķis ir apzināt esošo situāciju personīgās informācijas pārvaldības jomā Latvijā. Bakalaura darbā noskaidrots, ka, lai arī pārsvarā personīgās informācijas pārvaldības prakse apmierina cilvēku vajadzības, tomēr, informācijas izguves process nav efektīvs.

A Phenomenographic Study of Adolescents’ Conceptions of Health Information Appraisal as a Critical Component of Adolescent Health Literacy

This paper reports on a health literacy study that explored adolescents’ conceptualizations of health information appraisal as a social practice in Latvia. The study was guided by phenomenography, a qualitative research approach used to describe people’s conceptions of a particular phenomenon. A purposive, maximum variation sampling was used, and 24 adolescents were recruited to take part in the study, ranging from 13 to 16 year-olds. Experimental generalized quantum suppression law in Sylvester interferometers

Photonic interference is a key quantum resource for optical quantum computation, and in particular for so-called boson sampling machines. In interferometers with certain symmetries, genuine multiphoton quantum interference effectively suppresses certain sets of events, as in the original Hong-Ou-Mandel effect. Recently, it was shown that some classical and semi-classical models could be ruled out by identifying such suppressions in Fourier interferometers. Here we propose a suppression law suitable for random-input experiments in multimode Sylvester interferometers, and verify it experimentally using 4- and 8-mode integrated interferometers. Experimental test of the performances of a photovoltaic modules model

In this paper, a measurement-based modeling technique for PV panels oriented to power electronics design is proposed. The proposed modelling approach aims at an accurate modeling of the whole PV curve and not only around a few remarkable points. The proposed approach is based on an experimental characterization of the module under test. In fact, the incompleteness of manufacturers' data and the knowledge of physical parameters are the main source of inaccuracy in existing modelling approaches.
