Background: In 2003 the INMA—INfancia y Medio Ambiente (Environment and Childhood) project, a Spanish national network of birth cohorts including more than 3500 participants, was set up with the aim to assess the health impacts of pre- and postnatal environmental exposures on children. The project has published more than 60 papers on maternal and environmental factors related to neuropsychological development in children, one of the main research interests within the project. Objectives High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) and Moderate Intensity Training (MIT) can combat the obesity epidemic. However, studies comparing their effects on obesity show controversial findings regarding weight loss. Adenosine has emerged as a possible, novel therapeutic agent to treat obesity, but more preclinical studies on its efficacy are needed. Esta tesis analiza la patrimonialización del ‘Paisaje Cultural Cafetero’ de Colombia, inscrito en la Lista de Patrimonio Mundial desde 2011. Se refiere a un contexto rural andino especializado en la producción de café, donde la pequeña agricultura ha perdido rentabilidad económica tras la liberalización del mercado. El patrimonio paisajístico se proyecta allí como medida de conservación, revitalización económica y pacificación. Tässä kokeellisessa tutkimuksessa tarkasteltiin sosiaalista oppimista eläinmallissa, jonka keskiössä olivat rotat ja niiden oppimisen sosiaalisuus. Tätä ilmiötä lähestyttiin pohtimalla kysymyksiä: (1) eroavatko rotat lajikannan (HCR - LCR) tai (2) oppimistyylin (itsenäinen - toiselta mallintava) suhteen, sekä (3) eroavatko viivästetyn ja viiveettömän sosiaalisen oppimisen ryhmät toisistaan. In this chapter, we analyze cybersecurity weaknesses in three use-cases of real-world cyber-physical systems: transportation (aviation), remote explosives and robotic weapons (fireworks pyrotechnics), and physical security (CCTV). The digitalization, interconnection, and IoT-nature of cyber-physical systems make them attractive targets. It is crucial to ensure that such systems are protected from cyber attacks, and therefore it is equally important to study and understand their major weaknesses. peerReviewed

Viime vuosisadan aikana susien esiintymisessä ja asemassa tapahtui suuria muutoksia. Syntyi monenlaisia käsityksiä susien käyttäytymisestä ja sijoittumisesta. Tässä kirjassa paneudutaan susien paikkoihin 1900-luvun Suomessa. Paikoilla tarkoitetaan sekä susiyksilöiden fyysistä sijaintia että sijaintiin liittyviä mielikuvia. Lähdesmäen tutkimus antaa uutta tietoa susien liikkumisesta maassamme ja sen rajojen yli. Se kertoo susien suhteesta ihmisen ja saaliseläinten elinpiireihin.
