Notations et écarts de rentabilité : le marché français avant l'euro

The main task of this paper is to confront two classical measures of default risk of the issuer, the rating and the spread. The first is attributed by agencies specialized in this activity (Standard and Poor's or Moody's) while the second results directly from the market price of the bond. This article studies this link over a period of two years for about forty French denominated bonds. Two measures of the spread are used and the results obtained show the very partial consideration of this information by the investors on the French bond market.

The paper presents the legal basis for the termination of a councillor’s mandate, which comes from general elections, in a situation when he finds out that he conducts business activity on the property or using the property of the commune in which he obtained the mandate. The positions of administrative courts expressed in this regard as a result of complaints about resolutions or supervisory decisions, by which the councillor’s mandate was terminated due to the premise of conducting business activity, were presented.

Tradicionalmente, la financiación de las residencias de ancianos en España se ha venido realizando mediante dos mecanismos: la provisión directa de los centros públicos y los subsidios a los centros privados y del tercer sector. La Comunidad Valenciana decidió incorporar en 1996 un nuevo instrumento de financiación, que hasta ahora no se había usado en España, denominado bonoresidencia. El principal propósito de este artículo es averiguar si la implantación de este instrumento ha colaborado a incrementar y mejorar las condiciones del empleo en este sector.

Tutkimuksessa tarkastellaan kouluvalintapolitiikan käyttöä lasten sijoittamisessa oppivelvollisuuskouluihin. The gender gap in education against females becomes smaller as the level of development increases and turns in their favor in developed countries. Through analysis of regional variation in the gender gap within Turkey, which displays a similar pattern to the crosscountry pattern, this paper studies the factors that lead to the emergence of a gender gap against females.
