Stock market information and the relationship between real exchange rate and real interest rates

In this paper we propose to augment the traditional relationship between real exchange rates and real interest rates (RERI) by adding the stock market equilibrium condition to it. We introduce the relative dividend yield as the new information variable. In the empirical analysis we use recent monthly observations from the U.K., Japan, Canada and Eurozone, all relative to the U.S. We show that the introduction of stock market information is highly relevant for the functioning of the RERI hypothesis. AbstractOur study estimates the effects of the European Monetary Union (EMU) on high-technology (HT) export and assesses the potential knowledge spillovers of such trade. Purpose: Long-term results in the clinical outcome of different implant systems, including high patient numbers and a long follow-up time, are rare. This retrospective study evaluated the cumulative survival rate of a self-tapping, cylindrical implant system with a conical implant-abutment connection after 10 years of prosthetic loading. Using longitudinal data from the 'Generation' surveys carried out by Céreq that provides information on the first seven years on the labour market, this paper focuses on the consequences of the 2008 crisis on employment and job quality for the youth. Firstly, using the Generation 2004 survey, the situations are studied in terms of employability and vulnerability for two sub-periods (2004-2008 and 2009-2011).
