Purpose: The aim of our study was to underline the changes in the movement perception for early glaucoma. Our working hypothesis consisted in inquiring if the impairment of the magnocellular pathway may modify the movement perception capabilities in the visual field, more particularly in its peripheral area.Methods: We included 14 healthy subjects and 14 patients with early primary open angle glaucoma. A Moldvai Csángómagyar Oktatási Program kutatása és támogatása egy több éves (2016– 2021), a Finn Akadémia által támogatott projekt (projektszáma, 299133), amelynek anyaga 30 moldvai településen folyatatott, 2017–2019 között végzett terepmunkából áll. A terepmunka szakaszai során számos vizuális és digitális módszertani eljárás is bevezetésre kerül, s az ezek segítségével készített anyagokból nagy terjedelmű, multimodális adatbázis jön létre. Abstract Background Numerous previous experiments have used oddball paradigm to study change detection. This paradigm is applied here to study change detection of facial expressions in a context which demands abstraction of the emotional expression-related facial features among other changing facial features. Methods Event-related potentials (ERPs) were recorded in adult humans engaged in a demanding auditory task. Publisher Copyright: © 2023 The Authors River lampreys (Lampetra fluviatilis) were caught in the fall 2014 on entering the River Perhonjoki for spawning and kept at a hatchery until spawning in late spring 2015 to produce larvae for compensatory stockings. Since the lampreys died massively from early February onwards, they were investigated in March and May to clarify the cause of the deaths. The symptoms in lampreys resembled those of lipid-related thiamine (vitamin B1) deficiency of salmonines, called the M74 syndrome in the Baltic Sea area. RAZIONALE. Il nostro obiettivo è stato quello di analizzare la relazione tra livelli plasmatici di VitaminaD (VitD) e valori di pressione arteriosa clinica ed ambulatoria in ipertesi essenziali e di identificare un’eventuale associazione fra l’ipertensione e i polimorfismi del gene VDR, FokI e BsmI. CASISTICA E METODI. Abbiamo arruolato 71 ipertesi essenziali e 72 controlli di età compresa fra 18 e 75 anni. Nei pazienti sono stati valutati: pressione arteriosa clinica, monitoraggio ambulatorio della pressione arteriosa delle 24 ore, parametri antropometrici, indagini bioumorali di routine e livelli plasmatici di VitD con metodica HPLC.
