Disentangling the effects of methanogen community and environment on peatland greenhouse gas production by a reciprocal transplant experiment

Northern peatlands consist of a mosaic of peatland types that vary spatially and temporally and differ in their methane (CH4) production. Microbial community composition and environment both potentially control the processes that release carbon from anoxic peat either as CH4 or carbon dioxide (CO2), a less potent greenhouse gas than CH4. Opinnäytetyöni on kuvaileva ja arvioiva tapaustutkimus vetämistäni musikaaliprojekteista ryhmäytymisprosessin näkökulmasta että ryhmän ohjaajana saamieni kokemusten kannalta. Käsittelen ryhmäteorioiden toimivuutta yleisesti suhteessa omiin kokemuksiini ja tarkemmin tarkasteltavana olevan musikaalin kannalta. Tutkin löytyykö yhteisiä tekijöitä teorian ja käytännön väliltä. Fishmeal (FM) was substituted with soybean meal (Glycine max) (SBM) and bambaranut meal (Voandzeia subterranea) (BNM) in 10 experimental African catfish, Clarias gariepinus, diets. Feed formulation was designed using mixture model. The inclusion level of the three protein ingredients varied between 0% and 60%. Remaining 40% comprised of basal ingredients kept constant for all 10 feeds. African catfish of average initial weight 35.2 ± 0.9 g were fed with one of the treatment diets for 28 days. The protein:lipid ratios of the diets (range 1.5–3.4:1) were used in evaluating the feed utilization and growth of the fish. In this context, we set out to evaluate ciprofloxacin and gentamicin elution from systems based on chitosan. Films and semisolid hydrogels containing chitosan alone (2%) or in combination with gelatin (6%) or different proportions (from 12% to 36%) of tetrakis-(hydroxymethyl)-phosphonium-chloride (THPC) were tested as delivery systems. International audience; A detailed study of reduction potentials, electroreduction mechanisms and acid-base chemistry was carried out on two series of free-base porphyrins in nonaqueous media. The first series is represented by four-pyrrole substituted tetraphenylporphyrin (TPP) derivatives, two of which are planar and two of which are nonplanar in their non-protonated form. The second comprises porphyrins with 0-4 meso-phenyl groups on the macrocycle.
