Public wash-houses in Portugal: spaces of aggregation and sanitary aid. The case of study of the city of Aveiro

This paper investigates the typology of the Portuguese public wash-houses that represents a very important sanitary aid and a space of social aggregation. More particularly, the most common features of such a typology will be outlined: architectural configuration, materials and technology, constructive characteristics, hydraulic equipment, historical evolution. These simple but highly functional little buildings are spread across the whole country and had been extremely important for the population since the middle age. First World War Diaries: Making the Private Public

This article analyses several World War I Diaries written by soldiers on the Front. Starting with the circumstances of publication and their effects on the text, the article addresses the passage of these very private texts into public life, before turning to the role played by the diaries for the soldiers who write them. Studies of the diary as a genre are used to show how war diaries fit into the more general genre. Finally the article turns to the reception of these works, by studying what part literary distance may play for the soldiers keeping a diary, and by arguing that the task of making sense of these texts has been transferred to present-day readers.

Tämä tutkielma kokoaa yhteen pankkeja nykyisin velvoittavat pääomien määrään ja maksuvalmiuteen sekä rahoitukseen liittyvät sääntelyt. Tutkielman tavoitteena on saada vastaus kysymykseen: Miten pankin tulee huomioida pankkisääntely pääoman ja varainhankinnan rakenteessaan? Tutkielman alussa esitellään pankkitoimintaa yleisesti ja siihen liittyviä optimointiongelmia. Pankkien kannalta optimaalinen pääomarakenne poikkeaa sosiaalisesti optimaalisesta ja tätä varten pankkisääntelyä tarvitaan. In the article the personal qualities of the teacher, characterizing the professional pedagogical orientation of the teacher, are considered. It explores how, in the activity of the teacher, ideological conviction determines his social and moral orientation, which is expressed in social needs, moral and value orientations, a sense of public duty and civil responsibility. It is noted that the development of cognitive, emotional-strong-willed, moral, communicative qualities will contribute to the successful performance of professional activities, the effective solution of professional tasks, personal improvement.

The first part of this thesis is about adiabatic quantum processes designed for the implementation of quantum logic gates, the elementary components of quantumcomputers, by the interaction of pulsed laser fields with atoms. The adiabaticmethods allow robust processes, i.e. which are not sensitive to the fluctuationsof experimental parameters. The processes described in this thesis only requireaccurate control of the polarisations and the relative static phases of thelaser fields. An approach to overcoming this problem is utilizing quantum technology, which has attracted significant attention as an alternative to Nanoscale CMOS technology.
