Abstract γ-Aminobutyric acid type A (GABA A ) receptor ionophore ligand t -[ 35 S]butylbicyclophosphorothionate ([ 35 S]TBPS) was used in an autoradiographic assay on brain cryostat sections to visualize and characterize atypical GABA-insensitive [ 35 S]TBPS binding previously described in certain recombinant GABA A receptors and the cerebellar granule cell layer. Abstract The resistance of tumor cells to the cytostatic activity of methylating and chloroethylating anticancer drugs is determined by the level of expression of the DNA repair protein O 6 -methylguanine-DNA-methyl-transferase (MGMT). 1. [2,3-14C]Acrylonitrile was incubated with rat-liver microsomes, NADPH and either DNA, RNA or bovine serum albumin. Irreversible binding occurred to the macromolecular targets. Binding was lower when incubations were performed without microsomes. 2. Abstract This paper reports the body distribution of block copolymers (made by controlled radical polymerization) with N-(2-hydroxypropyl)methacrylamide (HPMA) as hydrophilic block and lauryl methacrylate (LMA) as hydrophobic block. They form micellar aggregates in aqueous solution. For this study the hydrophilic/hydrophobic balance was varied by incorporation of differing amounts of poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG) side chains into the hydrophilic block, while keeping the degree of polymerization of both blocks constant. PR04.MZ was designed as a highly selective dopamine transporter inhibitor, derived from natural cocaine. Its binding profile indicates that [{sup 11}C]PR04.MZ may be suited as a PET radioligand for the non-invasive exploration of striatal and extrastriatal DAT populations. International audience; The complexation ability of DOTA analogs bearing one methylenephosphonic (DO3AP) or methylene-phosphinic (DO3AP PrA and DO3AP ABn) acid pendant arm toward scandium was evaluated. Stability constants of their scandium(III) complexes were determined by potentiometry combined with 45 Sc NMR spectroscopy. The stability constants of the monophosphinate analogues are somewhat lower than that of the Sc–DOTA complex. The phosphorus acid moiety interacts with trivalent scandium even in very acidic solutions forming out-of-cage complexes; the strong affinity of the phosphonate group to Sc(III) precludes stability constant determination of the Sc–DO3AP complex. In the present study we demonstrate the in vitro and in vivo comparison of the (44)Sc and (68)Ga labeled DOTA-BN[2-14]NH(2). (44)Sc is a positron emitter with a half life of 3.92 h. International audience; PURPOSE:To evaluate the dose distribution of additional radioactive seeds implanted during salvage permanent prostate implant (sPPI) after a primary permanent prostate implant (pPPI).METHODS AND MATERIALS:Patients with localized prostate cancer were primarily implanted with iodine-125 seeds and had a dosimetric assessment based on day 30 postimplant CT (CT1).
