Tutkimuksessa tarkasteltiin lasten sosiaalisen aseman pysyvyyttä ja siirtymiä toisen ja kolmannen kouluvuoden aikana sekä sen yhteyttä ongelmakäyttäytymiseen ja prososiaalisuuteen. Erityisesti oltiin kiinnostuneita siitä, ennustaako toisen luokan sosiaalinen asema käyttäytymistä kolmannella luokalla tai päinvastoin toisen luokan käyttäytyminen sosiaalista asemaa kolmannella luokalla. Tutkimus on osa viisivuotista Alkuportaat-pitkittäistutkimusta. Tutkittavina oli yhteensä 332 yksilöseurannassa ollutta lasta, joista puolet oli tyttöjä ja puolet poikia. Peer mentoring is commonly used for didactical and learning purposes. In this study we examine peer group mentoring in the university context. The aim is to promote understanding of peer group mentoring based on a meta-analysis of two primary studies: teacher students and teacher group tutors. As a result, three core categories were found: 1) Individual’s participation in the group, 2) Professional development with others and 3) Community enabling sharing and development. This has important implications for the ecological dynamics and the evolution of host defence systems and parasite strategies. Tutkimuksessa analysoidaan Suomessa ensimmäisellä sortokaudella ilmestyneiden maanalaisten lentolehtien sisältämää vertauskuvallisuutta. Työn alkuperäislähteinä on käytetty poliittisen funktion omaavia lentolehtiä, pienpainatteita. Lentolehdet olivat luonteeltaan venäläisvastaisia ja niissä sortokauden oikeustaistelua edustaneet rintamat kävivät kiivasta kamppailua keskenään siitä, miten helmikuun manifestin mukanaan tuomiin venäläisiin asetuksiin oli suhtauduttava.
