Imagery and Religious Conversion. The Symbolic Function of Jonah 1:13

Jonah 1:13 has a delaying function in the narrative, introducing a pause between Jonah’s demand to be thrown in the sea (1:12) and the event’s occurrence (1:15). Most commentators discuss only the events of 1:13 and their causes. In this article, I suggest an interpretation of Jonah 1:13 based on the imagery of the narrative. An analysis of the use of metaphors and symbols does not replace the message of the verse; such an analysis simply augments it with motives of the seamen’s conversion. La chapelle Notre-Dame du Chemin est un site emblématique de la côte viticole, à environ 5 km au NE de Beaune, sur le territoire de la commune de Ladoix-Serrigny en Côte-d’Or. Le diagnostic archéologique réalisé au pied de l’actuel édifice s’est déroulé du 5 au 9 mars 2018. En dépit d’une emprise limitée au fuseau d’un futur réseau de drainage, l’opération a permis de documenter l’évolution de l’environnement de la chapelle depuis la fin du premier Moyen Âge jusqu’à nos jours. Attēla kvalitātes ietekme uz acs struktūru izvērtēšanu foto-diagnostikā

Darba mērķis bija izpētīt 18 samazinātas kvalitātes spraugas lampas attēlu, kuros attēloti acu priekšējo daļu struktūras, ietekmi uz 5 profesionāļu atzinumiem. Attēli, kas sadalīti 3 6 attēlu komplektos trim samazināšanas filtriem, izplūdums (1-6), troksnis (7-12) un kontrasts (13-18), tika parādīti datora ekrānā un salīdzināti ar oriģinālajiem attēliem. Rezultāti tika saskaņoti ar īsto attēla diagnozi un novērtēti 3 punktu sistēmā, pareizs atradums: 1 un 0,5 (daļēji) punkti, nepareizs vai nav atrasts: 0 punkti. Il saggio intende presentare l’intervento, dei primi del sec. XX, nel palazzo-villa di Haghìa Triàda, nell’isola di Creta, per la conservazione del suo megaron. La sala possiede forma quasi quadrata, con sedili, ricoperti di lastre di gesso alabastrino, disposti nei tre lati; di fronte ad essa è una corte che la separa dall’esterno. La sala doveva avere una copertura sostenuta da pilastri di legno, che portavano le travi e i solai degli ambienti sovrastanti. Gli alloggiamenti, dove un tempo erano inseriti i pilastri di legno, risultavano perimetrati dalle lastre di gesso che ricoprivano le pareti della sala.
