S'estudia el contrast entre el que es diu la posición Lockeana i la posición Berkeleyana sobre l'origen de la cognoció. La diferencia entre elles rau en el paper asignat al llenguatje respecte al coneixement. Aquest treball manté, no obstant, una posició híbrida. Se estudia el contraste entre lo que se ha venido a llamar posición Lokeana y la posición Berkeleyana, respecto del origen de la cognición. La diferencia entre las dos está en su diferente posición acerca del papel asignado al lenguaje para el conocimiento. Este trabajo explicará la posibilidad de una posición híbrida.

Les atlas de paysages ont été conçus dès 1994 comme outils possibles de connaissance paysagère. Leurs auteurs dressent l'inventaire des paysages régionaux et les analysent. Les prises de décision peuvent ainsi être facilitées par le traitement des informations contenues dans l'atlas. Les images (textes, photographies, cartes, croquis...), comme re-présentations des paysages qui les composent, révèlent et nourrissent des représentations sociales du paysage par la nature des informations divulguées et favorisent ainsi certaines démarches paysagères. Electrophysiological evidence for the effectiveness of images versus text in warnings

AbstractWarning sign plays an important role in risk avoidance. Many studies have found that images are better warnings than text, while others have revealed flaws of image-only warning signs. To better understand the factors underlying the effectiveness of different types of warning signs (image only, text only, or image and text), this study adopted event-related potential technology to explore the differences at the neurocognitive level using the oddball paradigm and the Go/No-go paradigm. Classical and recent result about neuronal properties, and their functions and architectural design prompted claims to bring gestalt theory to bear on neurosciences reserach. It is deemed to contribute to understand brain mechanism through descriptions of visual functions expected to be wired in the brain. The standard models of data decomposition and functional architecture in visual neuroscience are discussed. Such issues as visual primitives identification and neuronal activity integration in gestaltist terms are introduced.
Dangers of Demosaicing : Confusion From Correlation

Images from colour sensors using Bayer filter arrays require demosaicing before viewing or further analysis. Advanced demosaicing methods use empirical knowledge of inter-channel correlations to reduce interpolation artefacts in the resulting images. These inter-channel correlations are however different for standard RGB cameras and hyperspectral imagers using colour sensors with added narrow-band spectral filtering. We study the effects of conventional demosaicing methods on hyperspectral images with a dataset originally collected without a colour filter array.
