Diplomdarba mērķis - Teorētiski un praktiski pētīt I.Vecozola daiļradi un glezniecībai raksturīgos izteiksmes līdzekļus, izveidot un pārbaudīt praksē uzdevumu kopu mākslinieka daiļrades iepazīšanai vizuālās mākslas stundās 7. klasē. Diplomdarbs sastāv no 3 nodaļām. Pirmā nodaļa veltīta pētījumam par I.Vecozola daiļradi un glezniecībai raksturīgajiem izteiksmes līdzekļiem. Rational Design of Lanthanoid Single-Ion Magnets: Predictive Power of the Theoretical Models

We report two new single‐ion magnets (SIMs) of a family of oxydiacetate lanthanide complexes with D3 symmetry to test the predictive capabilities of complete active space ab initio methods (CASSCF and CASPT2) and the semiempirical radial effective charge (REC) model. Comparison of the theoretical predictions of the energy levels, wave functions and magnetic properties with detailed spectroscopic and magnetic characterisation is used to critically discuss the limitations of these theoretical approaches. Maģistra darbā ir aplūkotas vairākas kombinatoriskās ģeometrijas problēmas: taisnstūrveida konteineru stabilā pakošana ar heksamino, kvadrātu blīvākā pakošana ar N-tetramino, acteku dimanta nesaliekamība no N-tetramino. Ar CVD metodi sintezētu dimanta kristālu Ramana spektroskopija

Bakalaura darba ietvaros tika apgūti Ramana spektrometra darbības principi, kā arī tika apgūta prasme mērīt un apstrādāt ar Ramana spektrometru pētāma materiāla Ramana spektru, tādējādi analizējot attiecīgā materiāla īpašības un to iespējamu pielietojumu. CVD dimanta kristālu paraugiem, kas tika audzēti uz Si pamatnes disku virsmām, tika izmērīti un savstarpēji salīdzināti Ramana spektri gan paraugu virsmas mikroskopisko telpisko defektu tuvumā, gan attālumā no tiem. Pēc iegūto joslu novietojumiem Ramana spektros tika analizēta šo defektu izcelsme, kā arī ietekme uz parauga īpašībām. Abstract We report the synthesis, the single-crystal X-ray crystallographic structures and the magnetic properties of three new isostructural cyanido-bridged networks: [M IV {(μ-CN) 4 Mn II (H 2 O) 2 } 2 ·4H 2 O] n [M IV = Nb IV ( 1 ), Mo IV ( 2 ), W IV ( 3 )]. For compound 1 , the magnetic properties reveal a ferrimagnetic phase below 50 K. In contrast, compounds 2 and 3 show a paramagnetic behaviour with no magnetic ordering down to 2 K. The only electronic difference between the two kinds of compounds is the presence of two paired electrons on Mo IV ( 2 ) and W IV ( 3 ) (d 2 electronic configuration, S = 0) with no possible exchange interactions with Mn II ions (d 5 electronic configur…

Darba mērķis bija izpētīt Nitinola matricas ar bioaktīvo slāni biosaderību un izvērtēt tās priekšrocības salīdzinājumā ar Nitinolu. Lai sasniegtu mērķus, tika veikta izpēte un apkopoti aktuālie zinātniskie dati par Nitinola pielietošanu asinsvadu ķirurģijā, plazmas elektrolītiskās oksidācijas Nitinola izveidi un biosaderību, nanodimantu biosaderību. Tika veikta Nitinola plazmas elektrolītiskā oksidēšana un iegūto biomateriālu raksturošana ar skenējošo elektronu mikroskopa metodi. Tika apstrādāti nitinola ar bioaktīvo nanodimantu pārklājumi un veikta to raksturošana ar fizikālām metodēm.
