The purpose of this study was to analyse the evolution between 2009 and 2010 of residents of Tarragona's perceptions of the importance, impact and expected benefits of hosting the 2017 Mediterranean Games in Tarragona. A questionnaire was administered to two random samples of residents of Tarragona one year apart. The results showed high percentages of people who felt that this sporting event is either quite important or very important from an economic, social and sporting perspective and that it also has a high local and regional impact, albeit not so much at a national or international level. El presente estudio analiza la situación de la gestión de los residuos y la problemática medioambiental del municipio de Puçol (Valencia) a partir del análisis estadístico multivariante de datos de una encuesta sociológica. Se ponen de manifiesto los siguientes aspectos: a) El porcentaje de población que recicla correctamente todo tipo de residuos es únicamente del 8,93% y el porcentaje de personas que reciclan algún tipo de residuo es del 60,97%; b) tener un alto nivel de estudios y el hecho de disponer de contenedores cercanos conlleva que, de forma significativa, se recicle más y mejor; c) el contenedor de plásticos, bricks y latas no es utilizado apropiadamente, dado que más del 70% de …
Using LEACHM model for evaluation and optimization of the use low quality water in citrus

Para evaluar el riesgo de salinizacion en suelos con cultivo de cítricos se utilizó el modelo LEACHM que fue calibrado y validado en 7 perfiles de la cuenca sedimentaria de Torreblanca (Castellón, España). Se aplicó un análisis de escenarios mediante la combinación de: cultivos, clima, suelos, tipo de riego y calidad de las aguas y se analizaron estrategias alternativas mediante la utilización de mezclas de aguas. Los índices estadísticos mostraron un buen ajuste del modelo en la zona radicular entre 200-600 mm y una sobreestimación de la humedad en los horizontes inferiores. Aim. A tooth is impacted when its apex is formed but does not erupt as expected during the physiological timeframe of eruption. Maxillary canines, after the third molars are the teeth that more frequently show alterations of their eruptive process.. Maxillary canines can be positioned in ectopic palatal or buccal position. In recent years, an extensive search of the literature has shown a correlation between the palatal ectopic eruption of the canine and size of the dental elements reduced. Purpose of the study was to investigate a relationship between ectopic eruption of the canine oral, dental crowding and increased diameter of the teeth.

Amelogenesis Imperfecta (AI) represents a group of developmental conditions, genomic in origin, which affect the structure and clinical appearance of enamel of all or nearly all the teeth in a more or less equal manner. It is usually inherited either as an X-linked, autosomal dominant or autosomal recessive trait. The enamel may be hypoplastic, hypomineralised or both and affected teeth may be discolored, sensitive or prone to disintegration.
