Journal Article; OBJECTIVE To describe incidence patterns and trends in children (0-14 years) and adolescents (15-19 age-range) with solid tumours, except those of central nervous system (CNS), in Spain. METHODS Cases were drawn from eleven Spanish population-based cancer registries. Incidence was estimated for the period 1983-2007 and trends were evaluated using Joinpoint regression analysis. RESULTS The studied tumour groups accounted for 36% of total childhood cancers and 47.6% of those diagnosed in adolescence with annual rates per million of 53.5 and 89.3 respectively. Background: In the Need-Adapted approach (NAA) therapy meetings are a deliberate effort to bring all meaningful parties and views to a common discussion prior to decisions; this constitutes a challenge for psychiatrists’ agency. Aims: To describe how psychiatrists see their agency in NAA. Methods: Using videos of co-research interviews, stimulated-recall interviews of 10 interviewees were conducted and transcribed verbatim. The material was analyzed via an adapted dialogical-narrative analytical method. Response to dopamine agonists of the rat isolated uterus.

1. Quinpirole did not produce any effect in isolated uterus from oestrogenized rats even when it is contracted by KCl (37 mM). 2. Fenoldopam produced a relaxant effect on rat isolated uterus contracted by KCl which was not significantly modified by SCH 23390. 3. Reserpine decreased the effect of the lowest doses of fenoldopam. In reserpinized rats, propranolol (10(-9), 10(-8), 10(-7) M) antagonized the effect of the lowest doses of fenoldopam and neither SCH 23390, sulpiride nor ranitidine modified the effect of fenoldopam. 4. Objectives: Frailty increases the risks of hospitalization, institutionalization, and death. Our objective was to study the effects of home-based physical exercise on the number of days spent at home among pre frail and frail persons, versus usual care. In addition, utilization and costs of health care and social services, cost-effectiveness, and health-related quality-of-life (HRQoL) were explored. Tutkimuksen tavoitteena oli selvittää, miten metsää omistavat kuolinpesät suhtautuvat metsäänsä (tutkimuskysymys 1) ja millaisena metsää omistavat kuolinpesät näkevät metsätilansa tulevaisuuden (tutkimuskysymys 2). Aineistona olivat kahdeksan kaakkoissuomalaisen met- sää omistavan kuolinpesän osakkaan teemahaastattelut. Tutkimusaineisto oli laadullinen, ja sitä analysoitiin sisällönanalyysilla. Tutkimuksen taustalla vaikutti nykyisen hallituksen ohjelmaan sisältyvä tavoite nopeuttaa metsää omistavien kuolinpesien elinkaarta. Tämän pro gradu-työn tarkoituksena oli selvittää, millä eri tavoilla työssä oppimista tapahtuu puhelinasiakaspalvelussa, ja mitkä tekijät vaikuttavat oppimiseen. Lisäksi tässä tutkimuksessa haluttiin tutkia, miten esimies voi vaikuttaa alaistensa työssä oppimiseen. Tutkimuksessa keskitytään informaaliin oppimiseen eli oppimiseen, jota tapahtuu jokapäiväisessä työssä eikä niinkään järjestetyissä koulutuksissa.
