Katalizatory i proces koordynacyjnej polimeryzacji etylenu - eksperyment i teoria

Badania eksperymentalne i teoretyczne koordynacyjnej polimeryzacji etylenu przeprowadzono wobec katalizatorów otrzymanych z prekursorów - kompleksów halogenków Ti, Zr, Hf, V z organicznymi zasadami Lewisa, nośnika magnezowego [MgCl2(THF)2] i związków glinoorganicznych. Określono zależnosć pomiędzy rodzajem halogenków w prekursorze a aktywnością katalizatora wanadowego. Ustalono profile energetyczne reakcji insercji i terminacji (beta-eliminacji) oraz przeniesienia atomu wodoru beta. Obliczone wartości barier insercji, a także energii wiązania etylenu do centrum aktywnego dobrze korelują z wynikami polimeryzacji. The world production of natural pyrethrins is lower than the market demand, and a wider introduction of this crop within the Mediterranean agrosystems could be an appealing opportunity for farmers and manufacturers. Muistisairaan ihmisen kokemukset teknologiasta osana arkea - turvaa vai tunkeilevuutta

Tässä tutkimuksessa selvitettiin muistisairaiden ihmisten arkea tukevan teknologian käyttöönottoa ja heidän sekä heidän läheistensä kokemuksia teknologian käytöstä. Tutkimuksen viitekehyksenä toimi Lawtonin ekologinen malli. Tutkimuksessa käytettiin etnografista näkökulmaa haastattelemalla ja havainnoimalla muistisairaita ihmisiä teknologian käyttötilanteissa. Ensimmäinen vaihe toteutettiin vuosina 2004-2007. Ensimmäisessä vaiheessa kohderyhmänä olivat 25 muistisairautta sairastavaa kotona yksin tai omaishoitajansa kanssa asuvaa henkilöä sekä heidän läheistään ja viisi vastaajaa kuntien kotihoidosta. The systematic position and actual distribution of Recaredus rex, for a long time one of the most enigmatic lace bug genus and species, is very obscure because only the type specimen and three other individuals from India are known to date. In the present paper, we report the first records of R. rex from the Palaearctic region (Iran) and tropical Africa (Ghana). Based on the occurrence localities and climatic variables, we predict potentially useful ecological niches for this species using Maxent software. Fan fiction offers rich data to explore readers’ understanding of gendered discourses informing the narrative construction of fictional and real-life identities. This paper focuses on gender identity construction in self-insertion fan fiction texts – stories that involve avatars of fan writers – based on Stephenie Meyer’s Twilight novels.
