Background: Cranio-facial anomalies frequently occur in neurodevelopmental disorders because both face and brain are derived from neuroectoderm. The identification of differences in the facial phenotype of children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) may reflect alterations in embryologic brain development in children with ASD. Introduzione. La sessualità nella persona con disabilità viene affrontata con difficoltà e con inadeguatezza se non con franco rifiuto, con il risultato che le giovani persone disabili vengono, spesso, relegate ad un destino di solitudine e abbandono. E ciò si realizza ancora di più quando la condizione di disabilità comporta ritardo mentale. Metodi. Sono stati reclutati 25 ragazzi di età compresa tra 13 e 25 anni - 14 maschi (56%) e 11 femmine (44%) – insieme alle loro madri. Tutti frequentano l’Associazione Famiglie Persone Down di Palermo. Los pensamientos intrusos no deseados con contenidos similares a las obsesiones clínicas, constituyen una experiencia prácticamente universal en adultos sin psicopatologías. Sin embargo, no existen apenas evidencias de la presencia de estas introsiones en población infantil y pre-adolescente. En este trabajo se presenta el Inventario de Pensamientos Intrusos Obsesivos para Nif'los y Adolescentes (INPIOS-NA), que recoge en 45 items la frecuencia con que se experimentan intrusiones con temática obsesivo-compulsiva.
