Informed consent in dentistry and medicine in Spain: Practical considerations and legality.

The healthcare practice of dentistry, as well as medicine, is framed within a legal environment. Patients have the right to know all the information related to any action performed on them and dental or medical doctors are obliged to obtain their patient?s prior written informed consent (IC) before undertaking any healthcare procedures. Here we reviewed the legality and jurisprudence in Spain regarding IC. We also used INFLESZ text readability analysis software to analyse a sample of official Spanish informed consent documents (ICDs) from different surgical and interventional procedures related to dentistry and oral cavity interventions. This article and the four videos linked to this article are a result of the earliest experiences in establishing an international research collaboration among seven countries in the Project Social and emotional experiences in transition through the early years. We draw attention to the complex issues surrounding the many processes, beliefs and attitudes about infants in research that permeated our processes of gaining ethical approval for the international study and which posed many challenges for our project. Ces compétences, qui ont trait aux différents comportements que les élèves peuvent adopter en fonction des situations de la vie courante, ont dans une certaine mesure une importance dans la micro-société scolaire. Nous postulerons ici que ces compétences sont utilisées pour répondre aux exigences des normes sociales informelles scolaires. Ces différentes réponses influencent directement la réussite scolaire. Cette argumentation s'appuie sur une recherche exploratoire menée en 2011.

Tekst dotyczy bioetyki w Chinach, w szczególności bioetyki konfucjańskiej, i ukazuje funkcjonowanie medycyny oraz problemów bioetycznych w szerszym kontekście kulturowym. Tradycyjny chiński światopogląd i obyczajowość wpływają na konceptualizację i realizację poszczególnych kwestii bioetycznych.
